Damn. Sorry guys, Huck lost that fight, I had Lebedev winning 7-4-1, and he clearly deserved it. Fun fight to watch, but **** the judges. Bets are off if you want.

Well, Lebedev needed a KO...he didn't get it, and he got robbed. I don't say the word robbery too often, but that was a clear robbery in favor of the German fighter Marco Huck.

So Kirk, did we both lose the bet, or will you just call it a draw?

Never underestimate B-Hop. There was a reason why he jumped at taking this fight with Pascal. He had a gameplan and his body was able to execute it. Hell of a fight by Hopkins. That's why I still have B-Hop in my top 10 P4P.

    Wow!!!

    wow.

First off, I want to say....

    Congrats to Hopkins.

The old champ went to Pascals home, against a young, primed fighter, regardless of his shortcomings as a fighter, he was a top LHW in the world, and at age 45, Hopkins gets through a few rounds of adversity that has Hopkins fans cringing with fear in some parts (I was at the edge of my seat a few times as it looked that Pascal might be too fast and hit Hopkins behind the head too much)

But as the old champion started to warm up, the gears started to turn and the master appeared. Like Tarver said.... 'Ding ding, schools in session', lol, or something along those lines.

To be honest, I was rooting for Hopkins hardcore in this fight. And I will say I am not sure if that swayed my score bigtime, and there are other factors as well (fighting better then expected can alter perception sometimes) and I would honestly have to sit down and rescore this, but just after the initial, rollercoaster of a fight tonight, I have to say I had Hopkins winning, and fairly easily.

I felt bad for Hopkins after the decision. Hopefully, after he starts hearing from fighters and fans alike on how awesome he was (relatively) and that they feel he won the fight, it will be a bit easier for him to digest. I really feel he deserved the victory tonight. I know this is boxing, and there is almost never justice with these things, no accountability, they rob people, they sulk back into their slime and fans get pissed and the cycle repeats itself. But this **** has to stop.

Anyways, props to Hopkins, he showed that when faced with a task such as this, he didnt resort to faking low blows, he didnt resort to complaining about the shots behind the head, he didnt do any of the things that he (and perhaps rightfully) gets so much spite for, and he gave us a fight that was entertaining, and which had me standing up in the final round cheering him on, and IMO, added another fine chapter to his illustrious book.

Congrats to Hopkins.... proved me wrong, once again :good

Ya man since the fight was a 'draw', it will just be nuetralised.

Congrats to you though man, and all the people in here that were backing Hopkins. You guys saw it right, and honestly, I simply did not think that Hopkins could have the legs or lungs at this age, to do what he did tonight. Props to you all :good

Very surprised by the knock down at the end of the 3rd, but I think I was right about the overall picture of the fight even if Hopkins didn't score a TKO :nut

There's only one rule I've learned about picking fights since I started watching boxing:

Never, ever back against Bernard Hopkins.

I won an awful lot of money on the Pavlik fight actually!

He's arguably better now than in his physical prime because he knows exactly his own limitations.
