**** me whats Green doin at C/W as limited as he is his straight punches would brutalise Pascal, hope Hopkins wins and Green throws huge money at Hopkins for a fight.
Pascal swept the first 5 rounds with 2 10-8 rounds IMO. Hopkins finished the stronger but Pascal had built a big enough lead so the draw was fair IMO.but the 1 judge who did score it a win was for Nard had the same score as you. rematch will probably be on.shame Nard should probably retire let the young fighters take over hes 45 FFS. Chad Dawson to be left in limbo again.how cool was Hopkins ring entrance song he did it his way.
People were puttin **** at Green at the thought of fighting an old Hopkins, get back to 175 Danny peopel actually watch that division.
mate hes only just made CW last fight well 195 near enough.cutting back 20 pounds would be bad IMO.he has a 3 ranking at CW.
he had to drink **** loads of water etc to make the weight, he is skinny as a ake he could do 175, he is in no mans land atm, on the world scene when was the last time a cruiser weight fight was a main event,
I had Hopkins just winning it 114-112 but should have been more if the 1st round knockdown wasnt scored.
you may be right Pascal would win rounds early but fades. did you see Dawson-Pascal?he had a commanding lead due to Dawson doing **** all but when Dawson knew he needed a KO he was schooling him late and Pascal may of been KO'd if not for the headclash. nah Pascal KO's Green.:deal
Pascal is so open to straight punching, Green would have him on retreat with just a jab then sit his ass dwon with a few right hands
I think the big story is Malignaggi actually stopped somebody. Didn't even get to see it because the PPV played the replay of Hopkins v Tarver not the undercards. That was the real robbery of the fight. fyi I had 115 - 112 Hopkins. Clear winner, even if you look at Pascal's body language after the fight he knew he lost. He was totally befuddled how to land any punches. Knew he was getting frusterated when he starting waving his arms around during the middle rounds. I coud accept a majority decision, but this was an unfair decision - and I was going for Pascal, and predicted he'd win.
Dawson will be his next mandatory since Pascal was allowed one voluntary defense, so Green will have to wait in line. Rumours are also floating that Hopkins will be given an automatic rematch (how this works with Dawsons rematch I don't know, Maybe Pascal-Dawson II first, then Hopkins automatically gets the winner) Dawson will KO Pascal inside six rounds. Don't expect to see the same passive Dawson in the rematch, he'll learn his lesson.
