I have Hopkins way ahead of Calzaghe in ATG terms, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying Calzaghe's resume did grow after what Hopkins showed tonight against the "new generation".

True. I have always believed that both those old fogeys would've given anyone today from 168-175 a run for their money.

My thoughts on Hopkins after his last performance:

-Very intelligent boxer. Made me more appreciative of technicians in the game
-45 yrs old and STILL continuing to either dominate or make younger, stronger guys look bad? Amazing.
-After his performance against Pascal I have Bhop on my top 5 P4P list. He didn't get a win but displayed a lot of skill and fortitude which counts.
-Bhop is all balls. Continues to fight high caliber opponents and just fought a champ in his hometown.
-Has one of the most underrated chins
-Never thought I'd say it but he could be in a Fight of the Year. I was surprised to see him letting his hands go more than usual.

    :good

Hopkins is an ATG fighter who is still active. Love or hate his style in past fights, no one can take away his greatness. The man is the truth.

calzaghe got his ass whooped. if pascal did better than calzaghe. he scored 2 knockdowns, and landed real punches, and didn't low blow.

Calzaghe won against Hopkins on Hopkins' home soil. He made Hopkins grow old in that fight, forced Hopkins to look to the ref for some help, even without knocking the ATG down. He slapped Hopkins to oblivion and shimmied his ass. Calzaghe didn't need no massive amount of real punches. Slapping Hopkins was more than enough to make Hopkins look dead by round 12.

What did Pascal do? He proved he could knock Hopkins down, he did it twice, and the guy still lost because he did F-cking NOTHING, afraid of a man much older than the ATG Calzaghe fought.

    In his hometown FFS.

Pascal had NOTHING by the time the fight ended.

After the KD, Hopkins did nothing but foul and cry to the ref in the Calzaghe fight.

Hopkins virtually has been undefeated since roy jones

he had bad decisions against taylor and calzaghe now pascal
if he was more popular he would of won those decisions
and be even more of an ATG possibly the greatest ever
poor guy cant get a decision his way, when has he ever won a disputed
    decision?

Sorry but no. Calzaghe had Hopkins breathing for air in a close match. Hopkins was more popular than Calzaghe. The only reason Calzaghe even fought Hopkins was because Hopkins had more of a name than he did.

Hopkins lost to Cal. Deal with it.
