    Morales clearly won rounds 5-8 & 10.

With the knockdown, that should salvage him at least a draw.

Lorenzo clearly won the 1st, and probably swept 11 & 12. I was undecided on whether to score rounds 2-4 even or give them to Lorenzo. Scoring just one of them even would give Morales a close win on my card.

Officially, Morales wins by scores of 116-111, 114-113 and 115-112

Morales is already slow. He better retire for good.

Morales is done at the elite leve but this comeback is actually quite impressive.

Alfaro, Limond and Lorenzo are all named and ranked fighters.

There is a good number of you whom picked against him in all 3 matches.

Morales better fight Barrera. They are at the same level. They can include Hamed here if he is still interested to fight.

Wtf? You score a round right after its over, not mulling over at the end of a fight who to give it too.....

So who did you have winning?

I didn't have anyone winning. That's the point. I didn't bother scoring rounds 2-4 as they were happening, which you can plainly see by looking at those posts. My feeling at the time was that they were even but I don't generally do even rounds. If forced to lean either way those three rounds would have gone to Lorenzo.

I wasn't "mulling over at the end of the fight who to give it to" - quite obviously not, in fact. Re-read my post, please. Never is a final score declared.

I explained that had all three of those rounds been scored to Lorenzo (which they could have been) it would be a draw...and if even one of them had been scored even (which all three of them could have been) it would have been a close win for Morales. In other words, it's not like the "right guy didn't win" as IMO there wasn't a scenario to have Lorenzo ahead after 12 with Morales having the extra point for the kd.

Does this really call for large-font drama?

I did'nt read any of the previous posts in this thread by the the one post of yours I responded to.

I think that if you leaned to give Lorenzo those three round, you should give it to him, which would mean you scored the fight a draw.

.....actually I believe you would have Morales only winning 5 rounds, which would make it a 1 point victory for Lorenzo.

Wait a minute, who did you give round 9 to?

Lorenzo. So yeah, if those ambiguous rounds all went his way, it would be 7-5 and then the knockdown point. So, 114-113 for Ahogado.

If I'd really felt strongly about Lorenzo winning them, I would have given them to him. I just left them blank because of not wanting to score them as they were hard to split (which is where most people give even rounds - I just try to avoid them on principle but foregoing a score for those rounds more or less amounts to the same thing). He was busier with his awkward aggression but wasn't very effective; meanwhile Morales was getting pushed around the ring and not throwing anything. It was an ugly stretch.

If Morales was'nt throwing anything then he lost those rounds by being outhustled.

Yeah, it was just one or two big shots per round (which you could tell by the partisan audience erupting for exactly ten seconds out of each three minute session ) that kept me from scoring it clearly to Lorenzo on that criteria.

You're admitting that the crown influenced your scoring?
