B-HOP vs Pascal Final Score, Honest scoring from a boxing fan

    Thing about it is those Two KD's are questionable, both punches landed directly behind the head if im not mistaken

    :lol:Replay clearly showed the both knockdowns were legit.
    The first one landed atop Hopkins' head, the 2nd one was a left hook to the side of Hopkins face.

    The fact that no one bothered to set you straight goes to show the bias around here for Hopkins.

    Divac, the second KD was an easy legit one to score...The first KD appeared to be more of the back of the head, when Hopkins was tangled up in the ropes, It's a questionable KD....I don't think some should ***** about it, but that first KD is certainly questionable...

    I completely disagree. Too many commentators tow the company line and are so hellbent on remaining neutral they add nothing to the shows and they turn casual fans off by allowing the corruption in the sport to go unpunished.

    It was a close fight. Its hard to argue robbery either way. Your not very good at scoring these things.

    Mine reads 116/110 with 2 split (9/9 rounds) +2 to Pascal for the knockdowns.

    Excellent card. I had a draw. Both the 5th and the 10th were close enough to give a 10-10 IMO, or to give one to each fighter. Otherwise I had it the same than you, and I would not have complained had all 3 judges had it 114-112 Hopkins. But no way it is a robbery.

    i believe scoring even rounds is a copout, someone has to have the edge no matter how marginal.

    This is what I come up with :

    Some rounds are closer than they appear at first. The 2 knockdowns are legit upon review.

    Just because fights are close round-by-round doesn't justify a judge scoring rounds that should have gone to one fighter to the other. I'm not saying that was the case, but if you win 7-5 comfortably and a judge scores it 6-6, it's still wrong in my opinion despite the closeness.
