Calzaghe won fair and square in a close fight

Hopkins won that fight clearly IMO, and the opinion of gambling firms who had Hopkins at extremely low odds at the final bell.

Hopkins lost to Calzaghe and was lucky to come away with the draw against Pascal, he was also KD'd in round 4 but it was called a slip.

Why did the bookies have Calzaghe at +4.0 at the final bell? they aren't stupid.

Pascal was also knocked down, and it wasn't a push.

I still think Calzaghe lost the fight. Whenever he ran in he started slapping but hopkins usually ended up with the clean counters pushing him back. Should re-watch it.

I had Hopkins winning both of those fights, but i didn't see robberies. I'm inclined to see the Pascal fight was more of a robbery, because he certainly did better than he did against Calzaghe, but ofcourse against Calzaghe he scored a knockdown and gave himself a nice 3-point cushion whereas against Pascal he was knocked down twice himself and had to be more dominant in the rest of the fight to win it. So in the end i think the outcome of the 2 fights was equally close. I had hopkins winning them, but they were flip-a-coin decisions.

I've watched it 5 times and still keep getting the same score ; 114-113 Calzaghe

See I felt Calzage beat Hopkins clearly...When Bernard started faking a foul and looking for rest it was because he needed it. Hopkins may have landed some hard punches but Calzage landed far more...as far as Pascal, well Hopkins did go down 2 times and a lot of the rounds were close...to be honest I was surprised they gave him a draw in Montreal

Its not even a comparison, Hopkins won the last 9 rounds against Pascal and clearly won

Against Calzaghe he started well but Joe won most of the rounds especially in the 2nd part of the fight, Joe C was crap that night, his first fight at that weight and he looked poor, thats even taking into account BHops awkwardness.
