Exactly! Hopkins may have lost to Calzaghe, but its B-Hop who is acknowledged as the greater fighter, & he will go down as such! If Pascal gives Bernard a rematch then I give Jean all the credit in the world, because that was something Calzaghe did not do! And we know why he didn't - because Joe didn't fancy it! By the way, I fdo not dislike Calzaghe (I think he was a great fighter) but Hopkins is more of an all time great! Hopkins can fight at elite level until he's 50, such is his dedication! Legend.
Are you really that stupid?? Anybody, and I mean, anybody could have an undefeated boxing career if the opponents are carefully selected. I am not saying Calzaghe wasn't good. But a 0 in a record means nothing. The fact that Hopkins can even be in the ring at his age for so many rounds says the man is a great athlete. He must be proud!! Many 35 years old would be ready to quit after 3 rounds. Congratulations to Bernard Hopkins!! For turning his life around and being a great athlete!!! Definately a HOF in my book.
Joe was painfull to watch but his style was effective. He had a great carreer! However, he didn't ruin anybody. You have the evidence right inyour face. Hopkins still doing what he loves while Joe is........who knows? Sitting in his ass and drinking beer somewhere. He should give Hatton a call.
B-Hop whipped Joe C, and had him confused and lackluster in the fight. Whein a rematched was offered the coward Joe C, ran for cover. After the fight Hopkins looked like he did when he entered the ring and Joe C looked like he was hit with a baseball bat, real talk.
lmfao...joe c has 0 on bhop in terms of legacy....joe c is ok..not a very good resume though...not much to back up your claim there:deal
Im sorry but your speaking out of your ass, you honestly think a fighter can be fresh after suffering numerous hand and wrist problems throughout their career, moving up in weight and looking sluggish because they neither maintained their speed nor agility. Im sorry but Calzaghe was hardly "fresh" when he faced Hopkins who on a seperate note was 43yrs old and again was not ring worn himself.
Who would win in a rematch, Joe Calzaghe vs Bernard Hopkins II in Cardiff Ing lund, Aprill 2011. Calzaghe wont want no rematch, probably because he is retired.
Yo HEADBANGER the canadians judges robbed my 2800 VCash yesterday. It should have been 7700, anyway no doubt Joe ruined Lacy to an extent. he ruined Lacy mentally, and busted his shoulder up physically, its undenieable.
People were calling Hopkins old in 2001 before he fought Trinidad. Anything that happens now doesnt hurt his legacy. It only enhances it.
sure. he RUINED, one overrated, tyson wannabe, bum shouldered black american fighter. that's about it. if calzaghe ruined any other fighter throughout his illustriousrofl) career, that fighter should and will probably considered a tomato can or already shot to pieces at the time that he fought calzaghe, and hopkins wasn't that then and isn't that now. He is a living legend and all time great, while you're just some twisted english fan. Pascal has not progressed whatsoever in the past few years, and in my opinion since bernard hopkins is an ageless wonder and one of the smartest fighters ever, he will **** pascal up, even more, if pascal's handlers are stupid enough to put him in there with the ageless wonder again.
