The problem is that Hopkins just doesn't seem very popular. That combined with the fact that he's always the older guy with these younger guys like Taylor, Tarver, Calzaghe, Pavlik and Pascal being supposedly the next big thing, will always make judges favour his opponent.

I don't see how these are comparable, Hopkins dominated Pascal and clearly won at least 8 rounds IMO, possibly 9. The Calzaghe fight was a lot tougher to score, it was a close fight that many thought Hopkins won. I wouldn't call it a robbery because of how close it was, there wasn't a clear winner in that one and either fighter could have gotten the decision.

You have to learn to live with the fact that Calzaghe clearly beat Hopkins.
Outlanded Hopkins, scored with more shots and flapped at times, but did land more solid shots.
    Manuvered Hopkins around the ring.
Had Hopkins who usually finishes strong, gassing and holding and trying to get time out.
If Hopkins thought he was winning he would have been trying to get points deducted from Calzaghe.

    Clear Calzaghe win

The calzaghe/hopkins fight was terrible. I honestly believe both men did nothing to outbest the other onein this fight it was a great clash that I had Hopkins winning by 2 points, though I felt a draw wasn't a ba bad score to have either. Their were two rounds that could have gone either way.

Trust me the Calzaghe fight was no robbery... People should learn how to use this word esp. in boxing. If anything Hopkins deserve several awards for his acting.

I scored the Calzaghe fight for Hopkins, but it wasn't a robbery.
