Anyone else think Jim Gray was a bit out of order last night?

Lately he doesn't inject himself into his body. "Do you think your dead brother is proud of you?" Katsidis breaking down in tears "back to you Jim" or "Did you prove your point Amir?" "I have a chin" "Thank you. Did you feel you won the fight Marcos?" "Yes in the later rounds" "Do you want a rematch?" "I fight anyone" "Back to you Gin I mean Jim!"

Agreed. I thought he was horrible, glad I'm not the only one. If Jim Grey thought Hopkins won, that's cool. For him to stand there as a reporter while he was interviewing Hopkins and say more or less "everyone saw what happened, we think you won the fight, you got robbed" (I'm paraphrasing) was just bad reporting. Especially since, as was pointed out, a member of HIS OWN TEAM had the fight for Pascal.

Showtime's still better than HBO lately, but the post-fight interviews from both camps lately have been CRAP.

He was out of line - unless you're among those who feel this was a horrible robbery, rather than a contest where BHop seemed to win the majority of rounds but which was very close on points due the two KDs.

It isn't his place to commiserate with his perceived winner in the case of a draw, nor to browbeat his perceived loser.

Nothing new here, Jim Grey is always "Out Of Order".
he has a greatest hit's worth of inappropriate moments.

It was a robbery, and I'm glad Gray didn't let it slip. But at the same time, it wasn't Pascal's fault that the judges done a poor job. There was no need to be rude towards him.

So what, Pascal is supposed to be charismatic lawyer now who has a way with words after just being punched in the mouth for 36 minutes?

    Bull****.

Jim Grey is a ****ing biased ***** and has always been. I thought Hopkins won, but it was a close fight and Pascal didn't win either, even by the judges' standards. Give the man some ****ing respect, you only get to hear "And still" a few times in your life, no need to have it spoiled by an ******* reporter who is so far up Hopkins' ass that he should be called Jim Brown..

Gray was disrespectful, yeah. But I found that exchange hilarious.

Yea Jim was rude to Pascal. Inappropriate. Bernard was funny as hell when Jim said "We're on the air" and Bernard said "I know", as in I don't give a **** I'll talk to you whenever.

I dont think Pascal thought he won. Did you see that worried face right after the fight while Hopkins was running around celebrating? Then as Hopkins said he knows he didnt win but now here comes the politics and he has to say he thinks he won.

Exactly what happened. Come on man everyone knows Hopkins won.
