I noted on boxrec he returned to a 5th round TKO on Saturday in Canada. Anyone see the fight and how did he look. While I would have liked to see him take on somone with a winning record I'm glad he's fought before the years end. 4 fights in a year ain't to shabby. Can he make waves in the divison and who would you wanna see him take on next?
I'd like to see Pirog fight Martinez, but Martinez already said that Pirog has no draw and is high risk, low reward. Funny how nobody called this cherrypicking or ducking. atsch
You mentioned 2 fighters the OP didnt mention, but failed to mention the fighter he did mention. Also, he looked just as good as anyone with decent skill and good power would look against a bum. He should get fed to Pavlik.
Jacobs just showcased his ability in front of a Quebec crowd... for a TKO, not bad hmmm. If Martinez goes for some money fights with the big 154's or even a catchweight with a SMW... how about Jacobs comes back for the Lemieux-Rubio card in March, wins against a top 20 MW convincingly, and fights Lemieux in an eliminator for Pirog's belt? What do you think?
He looked OK, but his opponent was pretty bad. He threw lots of fast combos, but took too much time thinking about & admiring his work. He really should have stopped the guy sooner.
This guy has fought your avatar 2 times, Pavlik(undisputed MW champion) and Cintron all in a row. I think he deserves a money fight now.
Jacobs is a *****.... nothing but a momma's boy (raised by a single mother and his aunties) who will have the sissy in him exposed when a tough fighter stalks him.
