If i was gonna vote, i would vote for David Haye.

I'm not even watching the show, to be honest.

G-Mac! What a competitor! This dude gets my vote.

    Wins US Open...

Wins final match to win the Ryder Cup...

Comes from 5 shots behind to win a few weeks ago....

It's an awful lot in one year.

    Neither am I pal...:yep

With it saying "Sports Personality" as the name on the can so to speak, just because he is a boxer I can't vote for him. I rate him and respect his achievements but there are more credible candidates than him more deserving of this award...:yep

Cant believe people on here are saying that Taylor and McCoy should win ahead of Haye. I dont think Haye should win it but at least he competes in a real sport. McCoy has won so many races because he rides good horses, If he wins the national on a donkey il give him credit. Similarly Taylor shouldnt get it because Darts is a pub game not a sport, What next dominoes players getting nominated?

    Haye doesn't actually compete.

He just runs his mouth off and fights bums, avoiding the real challenge in his division.

    Wladimir Klitschko.

Has to be said, one of the things about McCoy is that he doesn't ride the best horses most of the time. He is employed by an owner (JP McManus) and travels all round the country getting rides from whoever else wants him. Whereas the top 4 trainers have their own stable jockeys so unless JP owns a top horse (or the other jockeys are injured) he doesn't get the best rides.

    Ok, enough racing...
