Clottey clearly has more skills, a better resume, and makes better music than David Haye.

 

sergio mora is ranked higher (47) than haye (56). can that be right?
also ranked higher than haye are devon alexander (50), andre dirrell (41), and steve cunningham (37).

 

Someone explain Cunningham over Haye, and what is Andrea doing on this list!

Haye should be higher than all those people you mentioned. He beat ****ing SNV for god's sake. Unified cruiserweight champion also. I'm pretty sure none of those guys were unified champ.

That **** on Caballero was rubbish too. I never liked Caballero and I don't see why the ring hypes him up so much.

 

Pathetic comeback, Haye has not been beaton since he was the undisputed champ at 200 lbs, so how the **** can you compare that to RJJ,Toney and Holyfield who have all been beat numerous times since they had there best wins. atsch

 

I am not a fan of Haye, but he should be in the top 20.

 

Except Haye hasn't been beaten and has since gone on to win a world title, whereas Toney was soundly outboxed by Sam Peter, Holyfield was beaten by Ibragimov and Valuev, and Jones was knocked out in a round against Danny Green.

A bit of difference, don't you think?

Ratings work by fighters moving up when they get a good win. Their stock doesn't fall completely unless they lose. Even though Jones fought horrible opponents, fight after fight, at one point, he still maintained his P4P #1 spot. Fighters don't lose rankings unless they lose and Haye hasn't lost.

 

Fair enough, my point was that he's been cherry picking opponents so he dosnt deserve to be high up on the list. He has the talent to be a lot higher but shouldn't be there just due to that. His heavyweight resume is poor for a world champ and its about time he fought an active opponent.

Didn't holyfield beat valuev not long back also

 

Macca really wasnt a quality win he was **** and Valuev needed a gift draw to beat a 45 year old Holyfield in a fight and was already defeated nore convincingly by Chagaev. Hayes best wins are against a 36 year old Mormeck who was slightly above average and a 37 year old Valuev.. :deal if he ever finds his balls and fights top ten fighters regularly but as bad as the heavyweight division has been he sure still has found a way of avoiding the best. Im sorry but he belongs where he is.
