What about Solis?

So what that was many years ago and in the amateurs. Haye was less experienced than Solis and Haye had only recently even moved up to heavyweight and he still had Solis down in the first round.

Now it would be a very different fight. If Solis came in below 230lbs then I'd give him a shot but I doubt we'll ever see the Solis that beat Haye ever again. Unfortunately we have a fat, slow, plodding version of that fighter now.

Haye would KO the current version of Solis. Haye has gotten much better and bigger since they fought, Solis wouldn't be fighting a blown up light heavyweight amater version of Haye. He would be facing a bigger, better version of Haye.

And what the Klitschko's would do to Solis would be frightening.

Solis wins Vitali as well as Austin. Do not make Vitali monster, all of whom he defeated were garbage.

Solis would have knocked him out in the 11th if Austin hadn't bailed himself out. That doesn't change the fact that Solis gave away far more rounds than just the sixth.

Vitali will knock Solis out. Watch and see. All the talk in the world will not change this.

 

I think in terms of talent Solis is better than both the Kiltschko's, but as a dedicated professional athlete he's an embarassment.

If he fights the Klitschko's he'll lose, take his payday, then retire.

 

Rounds 1 and 9 were Solis rounds, please put on your glasses and recap them again.
The most you could say about Austin in rounds 4 and 7, is that they were draws, it is a matter of giving him credit for his weak jabs to the gard of Solis, or to the accurate but few Solis punches in those rounds.

 

Solis looked a bum to me. The guy was a great amateur and always in shape.... now he is just another fat plodder with a bit of talent... talent don't count for **** if your can't move your feet and have the speed of a 3 legged dog in quick sand

:huh Where did I mention anything about age? I clearly stated Solis was the more experienced amateur and Haye was relatively new to the weight, didn't say anything about Solis being older as both are about 30 now.

Solis had already won the Junior Pan American games, Junior world amateur title and Cuban national title beating Savon in the process before meeting Haye. Hence my original statement.
