Gary Lockett looks like one of my friends, therefore I think he beats Sturm hands down.

Well, I think Lockett def beats Sturm, but only after losing all the early rounds. Would set up a great fight with Golovkin though.... Id have to edge Golovkin on a close decision if that one happens :bbb

Gary Lockett got the **** beat out of him the only time he fought a top fighter. Sturm beats him with ease.

Locket would be a good test for Sturm imo.

That was when Pavlik was a beast. Sturm doesnt have the power to hold off Lockett.Would be a good contest IMO

anyone know what the Rocket is up to these days?

He wasnt exactly a world calibur fighter but he was definetely top class at the Euro level. He could of made some more decent paydays fighting in Europe.

Lockett gets a bad rap because of what Pavlik did to him. I watched some of his other fights, and I'm not sure it's fair to just dismiss the guy. Pavlik was really sharp that night, and stylistically KP never had much trouble with short boxer/puncher types.

Right, so I agree, we shouldnt dismiss Gary, And i think he has what it takes to hang with Sturm, oerhaps take him out late, due to his one punch power. We need to give this valiant warrior one more shot at greatness.
If anyone has contact with him, please let him know his fans like me,Boo radley, and millions worldwide are waiting his return. Back in the gym Rocket!
