Now THAT was a robbery! Hopkins Pascal was anything but! how can so many of you have kept quiet when Kotelnik was at the wrong end of a corrupt decision? Americans cried foul big time the other night but when Alexander "won" the fight folk were looking for ways to justify that as a victory. Double f****g standards!

People are still complaning yes but I have not seen many posters saying foreign fighters should not go fight in the States because it's a given they'll get rob.

Well there you go then, that was the real deal as far as robberies go. Yet my point being it was pretty one sided, but I didn't see as much drama on these boards compared to now, and this was no where near that joke of a decision.

The US is more established in terms of international boxing competition. Seriously, Vegas is a pretty neutral venue. Other regions may vary, but you can expect pretty fair verdicts to come from our biggest boxing area.

Though I agree Kotelnik's robbery deserved more attention on the boards, Alexander/Kotelnik wasn't even a quarter of the fight Hopkins/Pascal was.

ATGs don't fight as often as you'd think.

The overeaction to a close decision where even an American judge only had Hopkins up by 2 rounds, and the fact that people are pulling up scorecards that give either draws, or close wins to either fighter shows it's a debatable close fight, but there is no general consensus on the scoring.

The Alexander fight was clear as day, yet people still found ways to defend THAT decision.

I guess I am in the very small minority here, but I scored Alexander/Kotelnik 115-113 Alexander. He won the first 5 rounds quite easily based on Kotelnik's inactivity, moving backward, and sissy punches. The remaining 7 rounds, obviously a different story. It doesn't matter if you lose 5 rounds by an ass-beating rout and win 7 razor close rounds, you still win the fight.

The punchstats shows Kotelnik only landed like 5 more punches then Alexander while Alexander threw way more then Kotelnik. But Hopkins not only landed way more then Pascal but Hopkins also threw way more then Pascal. Hopkins landed 66 more punches then Pascal. Dude 66 more? And you say Kotelnik got robbed while he only land 5 more punches???

But Yet Hopkins landed 66 more punches and hurt Pascal far more then Kotelnik did to Alexander. Kotelnik wasn't even active enough while Hopkins was way way more active in the Pascal fight.

Is that why you're not a fan of an american black fighter?
