Peterson is a **** fight as is Brook.

I want a fight that is intriguing. Maidana rematch, Bradley-Alexander winner/loser or Prescott rematch.

Funny how John Murray's gone quiet now! before he couldnt stop having digs at him, after witnessing the salita blast out and the war with Maidana he knows Khan will murder him!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing Brook or Murray in there in Britain. Why not? Fighting a decent Brit in Britain would make for a interesting contest and event.

    The big fight is Alexander/Bradley.

I agree minus a rematch versus Maidana.

What relevance do either of those 2 have on the world stage:think i cant think of 1 frindge level contender either actually beat, they both share 1 thing in common they both have the biggest padded records for the whos who of journeymen level boxing in the UK, this isnt to blow sunshine up khans arse at all i think guys like lamont peterson/zab judah have a genuine chance at upsetting khan and have the worthy credentials to take on a fight with him let brook fight jones and murray fight any legitemate lightweight in the top 10 to earn a fight with khan i garantee both guys fail badly in there resprctive fights,

I think HBO would take Khan V's a brit if the undercard had Alvarez V's Hatton, De Leon V's John and Haye V's Adamek type fights. It would sell out the City Of Manchester stadium.

    Never gonna happen though.

I'd like to see him take on Prescott, but wouldn't might him facing Murray. That would be massive...it would easily sell out a football stadium in Manchester...and would be good publicity for boxing.

I don't know why GBP are mentioning Peterson. The fact that he went 12 rounds with Bradley is the only reason I can think of. He was lucky to score a draw against Ortiz, but looked very bad in the ring.

I think Maidana had his chance and did the best he could. Khan won clearly. Maidana has to go away and show that he has improved and earn another shot. I don't want to see the rematch over unification or Prescott rematch but if I'd rather see an entertaining fight over run of the mill defences against okay but uninspiring opponents.

The Peterson fight is good, because it prepares him well for his eventual unification bout with Bradley or Alexander.

Murray will not fight Khan next. He has been offered big fights on the past (was offered to fight Ortiz on the Khan undercard if I'm not mistaken and turned it down). Why would he go up in weight and up in class to get his arse handed to him?

I'm pptetty much convinced the 3 favourites are Peterson, Ortiz and Zab. Of these three, the person I'd LEAST like to see him figt would be Peterson, the guy does nothing for me. Zab or Ortiz would be pretty good scraps. But do either deserve it? Probably not.

I certainly wouldn't say no to a maidana rematch, but that's very unlikely IMO. Khan has nothing to gain and everything to lose. As for Prescott, it's a nothing fight. Khan has just beaten a better version of him. Prescott was soundly beaten by a certain Kevin Mitchell remember.

Ortiz or Zab for me. Would love a Maidana rematch tho

My preference would be Zab Judah followed by Prescott and McCloskey. Ortiz did himself no favours in his last fight where he bottled it again, if he had won I would have loved that fight but the way he canned it again made me lose interest in him, until he proves that he has that fighting spirit needed at the top tier in Boxing.

I hope he doesnt fight Murray as he would be too much for him at this stage.

I would like to see match ups between Murray-Rees-Mitchell - whoever emerges as the best of that group should get a title fight.

    Khan-Peterson is a good fight.

I'm sure the prescott fight will happen, but not yet. The priority is to win the fight against the winner of Bradley -Alexander, prescott does not prepare Khan for this fight: Peterson does. The prescott ballyhoo may also stir bad memories and haters, which Khan doesn't need at this point, once he wins against bradley(if it's him), then he can concentrate on prescott.

If Khan unifies the division, then I think the prescott fight may happen. It will be easy money for Khan, Sky can sell a lot of PPV's on the redemption angle, and non boxing fans will assume it's a hard fight. But in reality things are now very different and prescott can easily be beaten.
