OK How about this. Title: FYI Danny Green is **** I saw that some of you guys think that Danny Green could beat Jean Pascal and I had to make this thread. You do realise that Danny Green hasn't beaten a legitimate Cruiserweight Contender since coming back from retirement and to say that quite a few of his fights have been a disgrace is an understatement of massive proportions. Seriously how can you get behind Green he is robbing you all, he is part of the reason that Australian Boxing is in the **** and simply put he really isn't that good. Sorry to break that to you so close to Christmas but I thought you had to find out sooner or later.
That was at 168lbs. Green's filled out pretty well (though on the small side) at cruiser so I really don't think that was a good weight for him. 175lbs is ideal. That doesn't completely hold up because Pascal struggled with the plodding Diaconu which one could argue is a 'smaller, weaker and worse' version of Green. The fact is Pascal looks to be a 6, 7 or maybe 8 round fighter so anybody that actually has a bit of bottle to come through his early flurries will trouble him. Especially now his weakness to the body has been exposed in 2 successive fights.
