You pay way too much attention to punchstats, just out of interest how did you score Hopkins vs Calzaghe? Kotelnik 'Hurt' Alexander far more than Hopkins 'Hurt' Pascal.

One guy's an icon, one guy was brought in to be no-name cannon fodder.

It's a hell of alot easier to just forget about the latter and go on as if it's business as usual, and that's what alot of people did. Kotelnik's own promoter (Don King, who also promotes Devon) is basically forcing Kotelnik to move up to eliminate any talks of a rematch. By doing better than he should've, he's going to get punished- and that's one of the things I despise about boxing.

Hopkins has so much of a following that he could lose 9 rounds and people would still call it a robbery. It's all about the economics of things, and how much rumbling fanbases do to call attention to it.

Hopkins vs Calzaghe? I think i have it 115-113 Calzaghe. I have it 114-112 for Hopkins win over Pascal. And i way disagree Hopkins hurt Pascal far more then Kotelnik did on Alexander. Alexander was still threwing back after Kotelnik lands. When Hopkins lands harder shots on Pascal, Pascal mostly retreat.

Also Sturm, Lewis-Holyfield, Ngoudjou and more. America is just as 'corrupt' or bad for judging as anywhere except for Germany.

Not only that but, Kotelnik was "nothing special" when Khan beat him, but all of a sudden he's a now a damn good fighter because Alexander lost to him, but they don't mention Khan's win over him AT ALL, like "lets forget that happened".

Probably because Alexander outworked and outlanded him?

Kotelnik totally beat Alexander. Matthysse totally beat Judah. Dale Brown easily beat O'Neil Bell, you name it. I did not see outrage about Vlad being drugged in the first Brewster fight either.

Vegas ain't any better either.... Ask Hopkins what he thinks of Duane Ford in Vegas...

Through time, many fights have been controversial in Vegas, as well as elsewhere in the US or the rest of the world.

Hopkins gets such an outcry cause again he wasn't expected to deliver anywhere near that kind of performance. There was a sentimental value added to his quest that subconciously pisses people off now because he didn't get the Hollywood like end result...

I scored it 113-113 after review and I thought that Hopkins dominated 6 rounds and won 2 other close ones to make it look like a boxing clinic, although if we just calculate the points, the end result is far from a robbery !

Alexander was hitting Kotelnik's gloves and arms all night long. His workrate just made it look better than it was really. Kotelnik was consistently landing the cleaner blows from the 5th round on...
