What are your thoughts on this Fight? I think Mosley is going to be beaten in Oscar type fashion, Which is sad since im a fan of Sugar Shane and i hate seeing ATGs go out in that kind of beating. but, then again its Sugar Shane, and although his looked less then perfect in his last couple of fights he still has the Power, as we saw him hurt Mayweather in round 2 of there bout. and you can never count out a man with one punch KO power. When it comes to "who i want to win" , im split, i like shane and manny and its hard for me to side with one or the other. anyway, ive been reading a lot of threads in the American sections of this Forum, But id like to hear what us Aussies think of this matchup. Do you think Berto is worthy of a fight with manny?
I would have rather seen Pacquiao-Marquez III than either Mosley or Berto. Berto needs to fight a couple top 10 guys at least the level of Clottey...Margarito...Cintron...Mosley...Cotto & look dominant before fighting Pacquiao.
don't really want it to happen but of course its a Pac fight so the pub will be packed. and not just with boxing fans but sports fans in general. even hardcore mosley fans are lying if they say they'd rather watch this than Floyd v Pac
i don't think anyone has said that, even Mosley fans the only thing that would make this fight interesting is if Shane lifts for one last fight, if he steps up he could make it interesting, but Pac still wins either way imo The problem with Shane is his stamina, his last 3-4 fights he has looked gassed after 4-5 rounds. When he fought Marg he was sucking wind after 3 rounds. With Pac setting the pace for the fight it may be a short fight, Pac might stop shane. But as i said, He has the Power, so you never truely know.
Really don't want this fight to happen as it's probably only going to be a one sided mismatch. Unfortunately Mosley seems to be continuing on the list of all time greats fighting on too long past their prime like Holyfield, Morales and RJJ.
Yup, They just can't give it away. Then we have the list of fighters who come back, just to get a beating. It just goes to show what a Freak George Foreman was, His 1 in a Million.
I don't like this fight one little bit. I'm happy with Berto or Martinez but not late 30's past there best legends.
Give me Marquez, Bradley, Martinez at catchweight or even Berto before Shane. No real surprises why he's been chosen though, he's a household name that will attract the average follower of the sport.
Seems unreasonable to say considering the difficulty he had with Marquez both their fights but I think he destroys Marquez if he meets him again. Mosley is a disappointing choice but before he fought Mayweather I had some feeling he was Pac's biggest threat.
