    1. GEORGE FOREMAN,
    Net worth: $250 million
The George Foreman grill made this former champ the cash cow. In a 2004 article in Businessweek magazine, Foreman didn't reveal how much he made as an endorser, but didn't argue his lifetime earnings were near $240 million. Besides the grill, keep in mind Foreman's also been a motivational speaker and worked as a commentator for HBO.

    2. OSCAR DELA HOYA,
    Net worth: $175 million
The former gold medalist set pay-per-view records for his fights with Mayweather and Felix Trinidad. He also expanded his reach, and is now a promoter, and has business interests involving media, real estate, and ownership in the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer.

    3. SUGAR RAY LEONARD,
    Net worth: $100 million
Besides being the marquee fighter of his era and fighting in some of the biggest fights in boxing history, he also became an advertiser's dream and made the famous commercial with his son. Leonard also benefited from investments he's made.

    4. FLOYD MAYWEATHER,
    Net worth: $90 million
The man who calls himself "Money" could earn so much more if he fights Manny Pacquiao. His fight with Oscar De La Hoya in 2007 was record breaking, with 2.4 million pay-per-view buys. Mayweather also reportedly earned over $10 million for the fight.

    5. MUMAMMAD ALI,
    Net worth: $80 million
Let's forget about his past fights and consider just his name brand alone and the memorabilia linked to him. He also has a museum dedicated to him in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

    6. MANNY PACQUIAO,
    Net worth: $70 million
A Filipino newspaper broke it down in detail, showing how Pacquiao earned $27.5 million just on fights alone from March 2008 to November 2009. That didn't include earnings from pay-per-view. In his fight with Miguel Cotto, the paper also reports he earned $10 million from the 1.25 million pay-per-view buys.

    7. LENNOX LEWIS,
    Net worth: $60 million
The former heavyweight champion saw his first fight with Evander Holyfield land 1.2 million pay-per-view buys in 1999. Then in 2002, nearly two million in tuned in via pay-per-view to see him and Mike Tyson fight.

    8. ROY JONES, JR.,
    Net worth: $45 million
The former pound-for-pound king was a staple of HBO broadcasts, and later ventured into promoting as well as the music industry.

    9. EVANDER HOLYFIELD,
    Net worth: $1 million
When he divorced from his previous wife in 2000, b o x i n g s c e n e. com reports Holyfield's net worth was at $90 million. But his home went into foreclosure in 2008, and he also urged a judge to reduce child support payments since he wasn't make what he used to. Holyfield has 11 children, according to numerous websites.

    10. MIKE TYSON,
    Net worth: $1 million
The figure is quite different from his peak, when it was believed his net worth was over $400 million. Tyson squandered it, but we have to put him on the list still: Six of his past fights still hold records for pay-per-view sales, including the 1997 rematch with Evander Holyfield. Known as the "Bite Fight," it drew 1.99 million pay-per-view buys.

Lennox Lewis $60m? I thought he was worth like $100m?

Plus where is Hatton on the list considering he's worth an estimated £30m.

I think the list is slightly wrong. Floyd claim's he earned like $60m in 2010 alone, so he was only worth $30m before that?

This list cant be right. These people in particular Oscar and Foreman and Mayweather are far richer than this.

What about Naseem Hamed? He reportedly had around £50 million back in his heyday

  7. holmes is also missing on this list hes very rich from investments

I wonder what the list would look like if inflation was taken into account?

Sort of like how John D. Rockafella would be the richest modern person of all time. Or how Marcus Licinius Crassus would be the richest of all time.

I agree... and a misleading title. "Cash Cow" means the fighters with the most drawing power when they were or are currently fighting. DLH and Tyson all time were the all time biggest cash cows. I think DLH has more money than Foreman. Foreman has the "Foreman Grill", but DLH has Golden Boy Promotions which he gets money from everytime one of his fighters fights.

    Michael Buffer Net Worth
    $200 Million USD

How much does Michael Buffer make to say “Let’s get ready to rumble”? Michael Buffer earns a salary of $5 million every time he utters those 5 famous words. Michael Buffer was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 2, 1944 and may be the greatest Ring Announcer for boxing and wrestling matches of all time with an estimated net worth of $200 million. He began his career as a ring announcer in 1982 after trying his hand at several other careers including acting and modeling. Buffer became world-famous when he developed his signature call of “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble” which kicks off all major boxing events. It has brought him fame and incredible fortune. Once established, Buffer became the ring announcer for most ESPN boxing and wrestling events … for the WCW …and for events held anywhere in the world at casinos owned and operated by Donald Trump.

Buffer’s smartest move ever was when he trademarked his phrase “Let’s get ready to rumble”. He was paid an estimated $100 million to license to the phrase in perpetuity by the video game “Ready To Rumble”. Not bad for a wanna be actor turned boxing announcer.

I agree. The list should only count how much money their fights took in, without considering how good the fighters were at saving money.

Tyson is probably the man who could attract the most people to his fights. I remember even women wanted to see his fights.
