People talk about haters. I don't hate Bute at all. I just hate having to watch mis-matches on premium cable tv slots that could be put to better use.

I will still look forward to Bute vs anyone of the top SMW b/c Bute has talent beyond talent and I am a boxing fan.

Now, If you are a boxing fan that is truly excited by Bute - McGee, then you might not be much of a boxing fan at all.Boxing fans appreciate competitive matches. You might actually be an embracer of testicles to one specific fighter.

 

Fights #2 and #3 of his current contract with Showtime, this time around, should be awesome action fights. Summer & winter 2011.

 

He'll be exposed soon enough, just watch and learn.

 

Who else is there to fight? Don't mention Pascal as he has his own things to deal with, rematch with BHop or Bad Chad...

 

He beat Berrio, the reigning titlist, in the ring to win his title. And Andrade and Bika are better than Stieglitz. And they weren't great wins, Joppy and Thobela were former titlists.

Yes, it's hard to get excited by this fight, but better to stay busy than not to. I'm hoping that Dirrell or Kessler is healthy by the time Bute's ready for his June fight.

A mando fight, believe it or not. Brinkley is now ranked 7th @ IBF after the loss. Stevens is still #5. atsch

I know, laughable. No depth in the division outside S6/Bute/injured top 5's... that's all he can get.

 

Like the objectivity of your view, even if I like Bute a lot, I'm sick of having to wait for a real fight yet. I know the situation is hard to deal with, nobody is available.... but still....maybe next summer.....

Just out of curiosity, how would you see that fight go? How do you see Froch approaching Bute?

H2H, I think Froch's only chance is to stay out of range and force Bute to come to him; he can time Bute with the longer jab he has, and surprise him with a couple power punches here & there - Froch UD.

Otherwise, Bute wins a TKO by accumulation or even KO by liver shot. Just as a potential Ward-Bute, I see Froch walking into uppercuts if he decides to brawl and fight inside.
