I could see a guy like Ward possibly beating him, but it would be nip and tuck. I do think Bute would stand a very good chance due to his power and speed. But I'd like to see Bute in there against some stiff comp before I'd bet on him.

I think Calzaghe would put a slaphappy beating on Froch.

think froch would lose to calzaghe but think froch would walk through majority of slaps and do some damage of his own. think calzaghe would win wide though barring knockdowns

Joe Calzaghe was in a class of his own and the likes of Froch, Ward , Dirrell, Pascal would have been an easy nights work for Joe.

What? Ward is the only one who would have a chance but Calzaghe would probably find a way to win. Too awkward and fast.

When he was an old man himself... hence retirement

Calzaghe made his legacy fighting old men. Froch would smash him up and probably stop him.

Everyone forgotten what calzaghe did to prime kessler ? sorry but froch would barely land a glove on calzaghe.

Don't underestimate Calzaghe's footwork workrate and boxing brain.

Yes he slapped but everything else was solid.

A prime Calzaghe, with better hands, would take any current fighter at 168lbs.

Not if he's doing the cocaine. Let him "enjoy" his retirement...

I would've liked to see him fight Dawson. If he'd won that you really could put him up there with the Pacquaios
