Knocked out Freddie Pendelton in 1 round. The guy who is better than many guys on Tszyu's resume with flashier records according to you. Rafa Ruelas also beat him. I guess he is a shithouse too.

    :good

Yeah he gave Pernell Whitaker all sorts of trouble but that doesn't make him good.

He deserves to be in the hall of fame, not only that but first ballot also.

One of the top 50 fighters of the last twenty years.

If you're going to talk up Tackie at least bring up a Ray Oliveira or Roberto Garcia, don't bring up a guy that was borderline ******ed by the stage Tackie beat him...

Well the guy beat and got robbed against Howard Davis, beat two time champ Roger Mayweather and gave Buddy McGirt hell... what does Tackie have to compare?

A knockout over a shot Pendleton? Wins over ESPN Oliveira and Garcia?

He was also knocked out in a single round by Carlos Gonzales.

The same Carlos Gonzales who was knocked out by the 1st left hook Randall Bailey landed. Not the dynamite right hand. A left hook inside 10 seconds.

Yeah, **** happens when you're past your prime and no longer take the sport seriously....

I'll give it you that Tackie had the better post-prime irrelevant stage in their respective careers.

Was a good close fight, was kinda even going in the last round, were Kostya pulled it out, this was in the USA, and Kostya's 10th bout, Hector's had already fought for a title. Hector and Sean Grady were amazed that Kostya was even fighting Hector so early in his carrer.

I had it 97-93. At worst 96-94 for Kostya. The scorecards were good.

I've had this discussion with anarci with a round by round scoring.

Was a good fight, Hector was very good comp' at that stage for Kostya.

How did Anarci score the fight?

Lewis was very good in his corner, being calm for most of the bout then getting more excited at the end.

I don't know why all the hate for Kostya? he fought everone, on their turf, unifed the division, and pretty much ruled the division, I think that he should of rematched Phillips, but he did not, so be it.

Boxing fans are their own worst enemy some times, they want a boxer to not stay on their own turf and travel to get the big fights, clean out their division, fight in a exciting manner , unify the belts and does that and gets hated on (by a few guys)

Freddy your boy Chavez is one of the most over rated fighters if any generation. Guy made a living fighting bums or fighters with padded records.

Or how bout bout being 36-0 and fighting Javier Fragoso who was 0-2... Lol **** gets ridiculous if you look up and down his record. His son is doing the same thing.

Remember Freddy! Chavez fought cab drivers! :yep

i can't argue chavez's first few years as a pro....but the 2nd half of his career is what really counts.....win, lose or draw he took on all challenges and never stayed at one weight for his entire career....if chavez would've stayed at lightweight, he would've been 180-0 :rofl
