khan-marquez would be a classic. only problem is nacho doesn't want marquez anywhere near khan.

I like the sound of that... Althoug the way I see it happening is

    Judah/Perteson - in early April
Unification with Bradley/Alexander - In July
Then moving up to 147 in December for bout with Berto/Ortiz etc.
2012 and maybe he'll be more prepared for Mayweather

He should fight Casamayor. Give the old fella a payday.

In fact, I insist that he fights Joel.

    Is Khan ducking El Cepillo?

Khan is beyond Prescott now. I'd rather see him in with a good operator, someone who will test his boxing ability. Judah and Peterson are good name. I doubt Khan v Ortiz would happen in the UK.

Peterson isn't bad, what about Kell Brook though?

I'd like to see McCloskey, Prescott or a Maidana rematch.

McCloskey would in my opinion give him more trouble boxing wise than anyone hes faced so far...he can box can punch a bit and is a slippery southpaw as well. The English V Irish angle could help it sell well, and being a southpaw, it'll help Khan prepare for Alexander/Bradley winner better than Prescott or Maidana who are both much slower and less technically proficient.

Prescott's victory should be avenged, no matter who says Khan is levels above him, mentally I think Prescott still has a massive edge over Khan, and I'm sure Amir still has nightmares about it...and would likely want to avenge it.

Maidana- I'd like to see a Maidana rematch sometime in the future, though I couldn't see it selling very well just yet as Maidana isn't very well known in Britain. Though i see it as a competitive fight, and to be honest if Maidana hadn't been badly hurt in the first round last time, I think he may well have beat Khan.

After going through a war with Maidana, i think Peterson is a good fight for Amir. Lamont is not a big puncher but is fundamentally sound enough to make it really competitive, cause Khan problems and sharpen him up. Peterson can fight, it's just that he's physically inferior to these guys. I certainly wouldn't make Khan a huge favourite over anyone right now, he's very vulnerable IMO.

Alarming how easily he's getting hit. If you're moving as much as he is, wasting all that energy then you'd better be harder to hit. He's so stiff in his upper body it's unreal. He also seems to have a problem with looping punches that come from outside his line of sight. He really couldn't slip a punch to save his life, everything is absorbed.

He needs to get out of this "i proved i can take a shot" mindset and stop getting hit in the first place, because it's nothing to boast about. That Maidana fight put a lot of mileage on him and if he thinks that's gonna make him have a good career and beat the likes of Bradley then he's sadly mistaken. Timmy would destroyed the Khan of the Maidana fight. If he was smart he would've side stepped Maidana, made it "boring" and frustrated him. Instead of circling himself into the ropes, getting caught with the same punch over and over and being a sitting duck for long periods.

They don't have any relevance, but this fight seems to be more of a keep busy fight, a homecoming fight, mulling over until the big one which is Bradley/Alexander winner. In that respect they're ideal because Khan would be expected to win, and they'll make for a big British fight.

I mean they're talking about Zab Judah and Lamont Petersen. Neither is awe inspiring either. They might be more relevant on the world stage, but their stock isn't that high themselves. Zab's just 'won' a fight many thought he lost against a fairly low key fighter, Lamont's got a loss and a draw in top competition, he only got a draw because Ortiz inexplicably faltered and let him back into the fight, even then he was quite fortunate to get a draw.

Khan needs to look good in his next bout..they will find a low risk opponent for sure..but who?
I sense it will be Lamont.

Amir should fight someone who should test him.

He needs someone who is a good Boxer, such as Lamont Peterson or Zab Judah.

He won't learn anything from Murray or Prescott fight when going into a Bradley/Alexander unification.

The dates for Amir (I think) are April 9th or 16th, probably at the MEN Arena. Hope to be there.

Thats huge, i dont think they are looking for a huge one.

i expect to see Peterson but would not put my nose up ay Zab Judah.

beating Prescott means nothing as Mitchell has skooled him.
