Dunno how many learning fights the lad needs tbh. I know he's 20 but he's now shown he's at the level to now step up IMO. Can't be asked to watch him fight guys on the slide for trinket's.

I don't think this kid is as good as people think. He's getting good experience though and they're bringing him up the right way IMO.

Might as well collect them for the good it does in terms of rankings. I'm happy for him to gain a bit more experience before he steps up due to his age but I don't see the point in him fighting 39 year olds.

I agree Slip, The Cotto fight i was impressed at him coming back when most his age would of folded but i dunno.....just didn't see anything that made me go Wow...we got a star here. He's physical very mature for 20 which helps him out a lot more then most 20 year old pro's.

Yep, he does seem very mature for his age, which helped him out in that fight. I think he needs a lot more refining and seasoning. Too many young fighters are either rushed or stepped up drastically from fighting journeymen to someone who can really beat them, without that intermediate level.

It depends on the individual, but i really like how Andre Ward was brought along.

They should probably let this fight slide for a while.

Let Matt and Saul continue to progress and knock off a few more big names, before bringing them together in the ring for a PPV extravaganza. They can put Haye-Harrison II on the undercard.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY?!?!?!Don't worry about the belts. It's about oppositin. Regardless of 'straps' he's dping okay, no Julio Cesar Chavez (of course) but he's had some good 'learning' fights'.

Certainly appears more formidabole than Berto anyways, who holds the most bent title in th bbusiness
