hayes got a higher KO percentage than him now and I know theyre cruiser and HW wins in there but you gotta consider that Vitali is mostly fighting guys smaller than himself all hayes opponents were the same weight or heavier than he was ... Percentages mean **** all I realise that but I just find it funny that they threw around that statistic until recently when he went the distance a few times:hi:
Retarted post! Vitali as a boxer has always been a hevyweight. Why dont we add his kickboxing and you can add Haye at cruiser. Lets add everything and see who stands where by your logic.
dont get mad Somebody told buffer to annouce Vitalis best KO percentage until recently:good It wasnt haye cruisers have always been HW ask vitali he fought enough of them
Haye recently ripped the highest KO HW champ title from vitali He can now take the honours when time for announcment:yep
Two of the last UD wins for Vitali have been against Kevin Johnson, a coward who ran around the ring all night and didn't even attempt to join in the boxing match and was shut out on the cards. Not hard to survive when your not hurt and only trying to ruin the %record. And then there's Briggs. Who everybody on this site and other paid boxing annalists agreed should have been TKO by the ref or the corner after the 7th round. Dude only had his face broken in half. Way worse then the John Ruiz TKO stoppage that Haye got when those two fought. And if you asked people, they'd say they would have rather been Ruiz then Briggs after the two before mentioned fights. What you fail to realize is that boxers see it as an accomplishment to go the distance vs. Vitali, and when they know they can't do anything against him to win the fight they figure surviving is something to be proud about too. Kinda like the movie Rocky. Don't think any opponent thinks that while up against Haye. Also at heavyweight Haye is 5-0 with 4 KO's that's only %80 in my book Audley-KO Ruiz-KO Valuev-MD Barrett-KO Bonin-KO So at heavyweight he is still below Vitali. Suck it. If a dude who had the highest KO percentage at another level came up two weight classes and fought a tomato can and got a KO and then retired would you say he had the highest KO% at that weight being he only fought there once. Don't think so
Yeah Haye can be known as the champ w/ the highest KO% that never wanted to step up and fight the klitschko brothers. But he doesn't have the highest KO% in terms of just heavyweight fights. Either way you look at it, he better put his money where his big mouth is and step up and fight one of the K brothers. Once he loses Haye will finally have to shut his mouth
