In this thread Matthew Hatton is as good as Kostya. Other people who were as good: Malignaggi and Clottey.

Matthew Hatton is bound to unify a division.

    Its such a common occurence.

Anyone who is a mod on a boxing site who starts a thread like this is in no position to call anyone dumb****. But that's some good moderating you're doing there Freddy. Keep it up.

    You have NO ARGUMENT.

I pointed out to you last night that Tszyu's career can only be defined by the competition available to him at the time. There's PLENTY of fighters out there who had sterling amatuer careers and were flops as pro fighters - David Reid and Audley Harrison or even Martin Castillo whom you drew a long bow comparing to Tszyu yesterday.

WHO did he avoid at 140? I mean flat out duck?

You can not win this argument dude - You may as well argue that Barry McGuigan is not a HoF even though his HoF ring has more rust on it that your argument.

You can caps it all you want - Kostya's a HoF, a first ballot HoF - Suck it up, cry your tears and move on in life.

How many fighters unify a weight class in this day and age? Not many - Lennox Lewis, Hopkins, Jones Jnr, Ricardo Lopez, Joe Clazaghe and a few select others - All of them first or future first ballot HoF fighters.

Your argument about "What 3 elite prime fighters did Tszyu beat" yesterday is null and void when you consider Tszyu's fellow first ballot HoFer Mike Tysons career as well.

You can only fight the comeptition available to you in your era. Marciano was only 49-0 for beating up old blown up light heavies going by your logic.

Tszyu is in the HoF - Its happening, live with it.

Yeah Freddy... I can see where you're coming from dude, I can. But it's just the way it is. Tszyu is a HOF'er no question - as evidenced by almost everyone here on this board, a majority of boxing fans and also THE HALL OF FAME itself.

Either you accept that's the way it is and accept you have difference of opinion regarding what it takes to get into it, or you don't.

You've asked the question to us all and most of us have answered with 33 pages of reasons why he's there. Unfortunately because you don't see them, he shouldn't be there???? Never mind the opinions of many, many others... yours is the one that counts.

Thankfully, for Tszyu, his legacy and his fans that opinion only counts to you and not the HOF and the rest of us.

    we'll settle on this then...

KOSTYA TSYZU GOT IN ONLY CAUSE HE HAD ONE OF THE WEAKEST ERAS, EVER !!!!!!!

SURE HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS WERE GREAT, BUT NOT HIS COMPETITION...IT'S LIKE SHOWING UP TO A BICYCLE RACE WITH A QUAD, SMOKING EVERYBODY AND THEN SAYING, "HEY, THIS WAS THE ONLY RACE AVAILABLE"

Freddy - Do yourself a favour and re read your boxing magazines around the ime of the unification and you'll read most observers citing 140lbs as the deepest division in boxing.

You have an opinion shared by approximatley one person in the whole thread.

You have a right to it.

Lay off the caps lock tiger and have a lie down.

ya...the same magazines that everyone criticizes except when it fits their agenda hahaha

you aint gonna sit here and tell me that the division was deep, when in fact his best wins are mitchell and judah :lol::lol:

and i know it aint his fault that his divsion sucked, conquered it over 9 years fighting once a year :rofl
but it is his fault that he never chased true glory at 147...the reason is, everyone at 147 at that time would've wiped the floor with him worst then ricky...

    True glory. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

I'd say the reception he gets in Australia and Russia is what many would call "glorious".

He fought once a year at the end of his reign, after injuries.

He also had a big disadvantage being based in Sydney, he pretty much travelled for all his big fights.

I don't have to sit there and tell you anything. Your thread question has been answered and still you just make yourself look like a dick. 33 pages of Freddy Wak-ness.

And it's "worse than Ricky", not "worst than ricky".

That would be their prerogative. Have either won undisputed championships? Have either been in the Top 5 Pound-For-Pound fighters in the world? You might want to factor that into consideration of what "glory" is. In the end boxing is a business, pro boxing especially. It's an unpleasant business. Kostya made his money, won his titles, carried himself with dignity, and retired with his health intact, able to enjoy everything he earned through his hard work. That, to me, is more admirable than someone like Chavez carrying on and embarrassing themselves long after they are past their prime in a feeble attempt to hold on to some last sliver of "glory".
