LOL - 33 pages and it was all answered on the first page.

    So to sum it up the hater thinks Kostya shouldn't be in because;

    a) he did not move to 147

    b) his pro resume is not ATG

I'd hate to be the type of fan who needs 33 pages to rag on Tzyu to try and push a flawed agenda.

He was too high of a risk with little reward cuz he wasn't American, nobody knew who he was. Guys like De La Hoya, Mosley etc would possibly be the Judah's of today had they been pounded like he was against Tszyu. He was due to be the next big thing and for what ever reason, it didn't happened and it all started with a straight right hand in round 2 against Tszyu.

Before you get all CAPS LOCK on me, that's not what I'm saying WOULD have happened to Mosley, May, Oscar etc. But the fact that they all (and they've publicly admitted as much before) avoided it is confirmation enough that the guy dominated and had what it took to scare some real greats away from a fight.

You only think that because you're an Irishman in Australia that likes a Russian boxer that also moved here. :tired

Freddy, please, watch this. I know, to you the amateurs mean nothing because it's "not real boxing" but bear in mind this fight was before the computer scoring system and you can easily see the style that Forrest used as a pro being used here. Tell me that you can't see how badly Kostya dismantled him and what sort of skills are on display, and this isn't the style he used as a pro at all. He was that capable of ad******g to situations.

Being an Arab is more of an disadvantage than anything nowadays. But I agree that Naz should have gotten in. Well he's still pretty young at 35. So I reckon he'll be up sooner or later.

i use to love watching kostya fight too...no one ever said i didnt..but that doesn't mean he should get into the HOF right next to a real legend....

The same reason you admire Chavez, because he's Mexican. I know it might not occur to you, but there are fans of the sport who appreciate smart boxing and skills and not just nuts and guts fighting.

i admire chavez for what he did at a time when lighter weights were getting 0 recognition...the mexicn thing is a plus :yep

so are you really trying to tell me chavez is "just nuts and guts"
chavez was more technical than kostya, and a way better fighter overall...why dont you admire him ???? he also had a way better career ??? and left 0 questions about his career...one thing about chavez is that you dont get no "what ifs"

The ten best fighters of all time in terms of skill and ability, Tszyu ranks pretty well.

    Calzaghe
    Jones Jr
    Tszyu
    Whitaker
    Hearns
    Joan Guzman
    Lennox Lewis
    Ray Leonard
    Mayweather
    Duran

How can you say Chavez was more technical than Tszyu?

You said yourself Chavez learnt on the job so to speak with no amatuer career.

Tszyu early on had a far more technical approach.

When it comes to inside fighting prime for prime - You'll get no argument from me. But Tszyu HAD more technical ability IMO.
