Come on list his best opponents. Even his biggest win, Meldrick Taylor, was controversial.

Well you started a thread that was full of **** and now people are dragging - Unfairly - the great JCC's name down into the mud too.

But then again you reap what you sow.

Through the first half of his career he fought rather similar to his amateur days. People always label him as having average handspeed and being a slow starter that is rather easy to hit.

In the middle to late in his career that's how he was most of the time but for the first part it was the complete opposite, very good handspeed, very fast starter and was virtually untouchable when he wanted to be. At some point he realized he had a very sturdy chin and i really think he just stopped giving a **** about being hit, knowing he could walk through a shot and land his, having complete faith in his power.

I also think the people around him didn't help. I really don't like Johnny Lewis, he's a good conditioning guy but as an actual trainer he hurt Tszyu alot in my opinion.

Replace Whitaker with Ivan Calderon, Duran with Michael Katsidis and Jones Jr. with Jean Pascal and I might take your list seriously.

The following fighters are better than anyone Tszyu ever beat at the stage he beat them:

    Meldrick Taylor (first fight)
    Jose Luis Ramirez
    Edwin Rosario
    Rocky Lockridge
    Roger Mayweather (second fight)
    Frankie Randall (dodgy win, admitted)

Even if you take these names off Chavez's record, I bet his resume can still stand up to Kostya's in terms of quality:

    Hector Camacho
    Greg Haugen
    Juan Laporte
    Roger Mayweather (first fight)
    Mario Martinez
    Lonnie Smith
    Tony Lopez
    Ruben Castillo
Rafael Limon (hey, you'd include Tszyu's win over Chavez right? Why not throw in a corpse?)
    Terrence Alli
    Sammy Fuentes
    Meldrick Taylor (second time round)
    Rodolfo Aguilar
    Giovanni Parisi

Is Tszyu's resume really any better than that?

If you bother to put in guys like Roger Mayweather, Calvin Grove, Juan Laporte for Tszyu, I'll just throw in another Frankie Randall or Ivan Robinson win your way.

If you want to include a Jan Bergman or Hugo Pineda, I'll throw about 10 flashy recorded fighters (who hadn't beaten anyone) your way that Chavez disposed off.

Yeah but you think Its Kostya's fault he was avoided by when they had such fighters in his division as

Oscar Dela Hoya at one stage
    Miguel Cotto
    Floyd Mayweather
    Arturo Gatti

You think Kostya didnt want those fights i mean he took a Fight with Ricky Hatton in England because Floyd was doing his thing and Cotto and his management felt Miguel was no were near ready to face Tszyu.

Tszyu would take all those fights in a ****ing heart beat.

You Know we Know but still you raise ****ing questions and its not Tszyu's fault he injured his Powerful right shoulder during his Prime and missed two years.

FFS some people in here are ****ing just plain DUMB.

I remeber Kostya saying he wants big fights only big fights but Showtime and HBO would not come together which is another reason.

Do people forget really how much or how little they know about the sport.

    ****ing Trolls.

And for Freddy who i class as a fair and stable Family man that i enjoy talking to has lost the plot on this one even his best Bro Kirk wouldnt agree with Freddy on this one what does that tell you.

Anyone else but me believe prime 4 prime Tszyu beats Chavez and in a convincing matter too, likely Ko? :think

I dont buy the myth that Chavez has an undentable chin above 135 just cause he took flush shots from Rosario at 135. :bart
