Well... That is exactly how the belgium judge scored that round even after the KD. That was robbery. 10-9 for Pascal...
only way to solve this is a rematch. I heard a Pascal interview on the radio and he says he will take it any time. Let's get it on. Wherever it goes down, I'll be there. They are both warriors. Hopkins is a fading legend and Pascal has flaws but is still an incredible fighter.
I don't see why you're laughing. I predicted before the fight that Hopkins could give Pascal a very tough night and even had what it takes to pull off the W. Drawing with Hopkins doesn't make you a bad fighter. Even if Hopkins is 45 we are talking about an ATG
Pascal's good and has some impressive aspects of his game (he wouldn't have been able to decisively beat Dawson if he wasn't quality), but incredible? I wouldn't go that far. But then again, my idea of incredible would be somebody who stacks up well against the best the division has had to offer historically. Perhaps yours is different...
Judges don't have to count a knockdown if they feel the ref ruled incorrectly. It's completely possible that from where this dude was sitting it looked like an illegal punch or a pushdown.
Amazing that the americain judge didnt give the 4th to Hopkins. Te me, Hopkins changed the pace in the beginning of the 4th but got his chin exposed for the first time in 5th. The boxe isnt a perfet science, but I don't know how he missed those two easy rounds to score.
