How did you miss Sergei Valeutokev? 5-0 as a pro, but 465-0-1 as an amateur/underground boxer. The 1 came against SNV.

    Let's see, schedule wise...

    Spring '11 // AA - nope. Maybe a 5% puncher's chance.

Fall '11 // Froch - hard to say, but I'm gonna say no. The (s6 finale) will be in the States, and this fight will be a close one. Lots of fouls. Ward UD by 2 rounds.

Winter '11-12 // Well deserved, easy-ish opponent - definitely not.

Spring '12 // Bute - what the hell, yes. Ward never fought, let alone beat a world class KO capable southpaw. Bute will have a strategy to counter Ward's inside game, i.e. well timed uppercuts with use of the jab to retreat... Ward will put constant pressure on Bute, probably will take advantage of his great handspeed. I see Bute winning by TKO if Ward spends most of his time trying to get inside as he'll eat uppercuts, or Bute UD if Ward takes a couple shots to the body and decides to box him on the outside. Ward wouldn't consistently throw 1-2's or triple jabs at midrange vs Bute. That's where Bute gauges you for an eventual liver shot. The only x-factor I give to Ward is the use of variation. Quick shots from the outside, jab-straight head first gets him inside, couple shots to the body, rinse & repeat over and over and over. I see this as a 60/40 Bute/Ward H2H matchup. Very intriguing.

Bute has the best chance, and would most likley pull it off. He's so crisp with that uppercut counter, and his jab is beauty. Then again, the uppercut counter couldn't possibly work on everyone, super interesting fight though.

Glenn Johnson will beat Andre Ward.

Glenn Johnson will give Froch his first stoppage and carry on to beat Ward in the finals winning the S6 in the process. Afterwards he will retire.

Ok. That's pretty optimistic, and at the same time a bit weird...

...what SMW/LHW prospect on this planet do you feel could give Ward his first L at age 29?!??

Suppose Dirrell beats Bute late in 2011... how do you see a Ward-Dirrell fight go?

I think that the first fight where Ward will refrain from using variations in range (see the Bika fight compared to Ward-Kessler), and where he'll be in the ring with a top 5 SMW, Ward will lose. Could be Froch, Dirrell, Bute... my money's on Bute by TKO under 10. :D

  11. dr shaw-hi want allow a dirrel ward fight , froch cant beat ward lets not be ridiculous , and bute is the more protected then calzaghe was hell never fight ward either he has event left that quebec arena in his entire career and people give ward **** for fighting in oakland
