2. Not sure I agree with that...has Mosley ever done great PPV numbers? At least Marquez would have a selling point, including what would have been a great 24/7.
3. It's not the bout fans want to see. I've told my mates about this bout, they are casual fans...the first thing that came out of their mouths, "Wasn't that the guy Mayweather smashed?". I doubt they will watch this bout. Obviously just asking my mates is not significant, or the majority...but I believe that is the general feel about this bout.

 

Nah...I didn't mind the Clottey bout, for last minute replacements, they probably couldn't have chosen a better opponent.

 

I would agree with you if Mosley wasn't ready and available at that time. Manny should have taken the fight then.

 

It's another Pacquiao fight that doesn't sit well. Admire his briliiance but t's another opponent that is more name than challenge.

Mosley was scheduled to face Berto at the time the first negotiations broke down...then unfortunately the earthquake in Haiti halted the Berto v Mosley bout. Pacquiao had already signed to fight Clottey at that point, and that is what allowed Mayweather to face Mosley.

Exactly. He can fight whoever he wants. So why fight Mosley? It's a bull**** fight IMO. I dont even think Manny picked him, he probably let Arum do it for him which is frustrating.
