Nice one, Bogotazo :good. The last point was true. Due to Khan's lack of head-movement and his habit of blinding himself behind the guard, Maidana kept connecting to his temple. But when Khan was hurt by the over-hand right in the 10th, he wasn't holding his hands up. They - the hands - abandoned him when that monstrous right was coming his way.
Doesnt look like such a bad move on Juans part now does it. Because if JMM had Khan in the trouble Maidana had Khan in in the 10th , i guarentee JMM would have finished it. Seeing how JMM has clearly still got it....you have to go for a JMM masterclass taking the boy to school and back
I wouldn't say Khan's stamina was that good as he dropped off badly in the second half of the fight, he didn't against Malignaggi but he didn't have to use the same movement because of Paulie's lack of punching power. I wouldn't be surprised to see this one go the same way as Hopkins vs Pascal did if I'm honest with the older fighter outboxing the younger athlete.
Khan would be too quick and too strong for Marquez at 140 I think. At 135 JMM takes it though. Plus Khan doesn't gas after 6 rounds, his stamina (and overall conditioning) are great.
he wasnt taking those type of punches from malinaggi hard punches make you tired just like running for your life
Very hard fight for JMM. Khan by UD. I would say possible late stoppage but JMM has the heart to finish.
