I'm well aware of his record and outings. More importantly where he was at that point of his career when he fought those guys.

Tszyu in his prime and towards the end had problem with Pressure fighters who could take his punch. Vince Phillips knocked him out in his prime and Hatton made him quit on the stool at the end of his career.

You have your opinion and I have mine.

Laporte outhustled him. Many feel he lost that fight.
Barely beat Lockridge. A small pressure fighter.
Clearly lost to Whitaker got a gift draw.
Lost twice to Frankie Randall and got 1 gift. In the second fight he quit because of a cut. He said no mas to the doctor.
Oscar did a paint job on his face in the first fight.
Chavez quit on his stool in the second saying no mas and shaking his head 20 times.
Lost to Miguel Angel Gonzalez and got a gift draw when he was the same age KT in the Hatton fight.

Sarcastic posts aside, I think that's pretty much the most ridiculous post I've ever seen on a boxing forum.

If Tszyu can't throw 1/3 of the punches these guys throw in a fight, what are his chances against Chavez?

The above fighters are totally different fighters to Kostya Tszyu.

I'd rather be struggling against Laporte, Lockridge and DLH than Hugo Pineda, Hector Lopez and Vince Phillips.

Chavez beat a lot of very good and also a lot of merely good fighters.

Is it one of the best resumes of all time? No. There's plenty of fighters out there with better resumes. But when you consider the quantity he beat, the consistency he showed, the dominance he showed, the skills he showed, it justifies a spot in the top 20-40 depending on your proclivities.

Tszyu? Not in the discussion for a top 100 spot.

Nearly everyone thinks Chavez won though.

A guy that was robbed against Wilfredo Gomez and had two either way type of fights with Eusebio Pedroza. Lockridge was no joke.

Nothing to be ashamed of there.

The doctor gave him the get out of jail free card, but Chavez was already winding down at this point.

Happens when you go into a fight with a pre-existing cut.

Way more faded than Tszyu though when he quit on the stool against Hatton. DLH was a much better fighter than Hatton to boot.

    Past prime irrelevancies.

Aah, resume is not that important when it suits you.

Not so sure with the type of fighters I've seen in various top100 lists.
