Someone on BóxingScene has said Wlad accepted, according to Booth on 5Live.

Well that's not true, or Vitali's deal. I've heard the story - it wasn't all Haye's fault.

But... I think Haye just wanted to be in the driving seat.

The Klitschko's did not offer a 50:50 deal last year. That was false they wanted options and all that crap. If you beat me you have to fight my brother next then me again in a rematch. Haye will smoke out Valerina Klitschko sorry Vladimir or whatever her name is.

Why didn't Haye accept this in May 2010? We could have had this fight already or am I wrong?!

Oh wait he wanted to give us the brilliant showdown with Audley so he needed to hide from Wlad. Sorry I forgot.

    Adam Booth

"I have been negotiating with Bernd Boente, Klitschko's manager, and two days ago I offered him a 50-50 split of everything, including the British pay-per-view money, and that the fight could be on RTL and could be held anywhere they wanted to make the most revenue, including in Germany."

"Those were the only two points we were negotiating. But Boente came back and said: 'No point continuing. Forget about it. You do your fight and we'll do ours.' Wladimir was copied in on all the emails so I don't know why they are refusing. That is the question Boente refused to answer. Either Wladimir does not want to fight David Haye or it is because they have this deal with RTL and they want to get that fight out of the way."

    David Haye

"We have now ticked every box they have asked us to tick and I just hope Wladimir is as eager to fight as he tells everyone he is. We have removed every possible excuse and have shown we are serious about making this fight become a reality. I'll smoke him out if I have to. I only pray Wladimir is as serious as we are, because this fight needs to happen for the good of the sport."

    Bernd Boente

"Adam Booth is talking complete nonsense. What he is not saying is that he has told me that if there is another German TV deal for the fight that is better than RTL then we should pay the difference. We have to honour our contract with RTL. Even if ARD were to offer to pay more it would only be €300,000-€400,000, which is peanuts when compared with the worldwide pay-per-view .

Boente said in an interview with Ringside that if there was a higher offer for the German TV they would pay the difference. So what has changed??

Haye should just stop being a dick and sign.

He ought to be grateful that Wlad is even willing to go to the negotiating table..... Haye is the challenger afterall.

I don't give a **** about titles to be honest. Wlad is THE heavyweight champion. Haye is his challenger.

I've read the article, a largely pro-Haye piece.

As for the contract with RTL, if they have a deal in place they should honour it - regardless of a few extra quid.

It seems like they are wanting to do so, and shouldn't be penalised as such.

50-50 down the middle and just get on with it.
