    With regards to their records of course BHop is ahead, but if Calzaghe had Hopkins opposition he'd have lost to RJJ and beat the rest.

    Joe Calzaghe is his prime was simply the best boxer there has ever been.

    Bernard Hopkins ages well.

    Bit of a difference there.

    Although I thought that Calzaghe clearly won (and we know that Hopkins, even at 43 or 44 or even 45 is an ATG) I think Hopkins has the better overall career and I'd slightly favour Hopkins to win if they fought in their prime.

    I don't think so. He was 31-32 yrs old in '97. If he had gotten that Jones rematch, like he was calling for then, people might have been singing a different tune about him much earlier than they seem to be doing now.

    Historically, Hopkins-Trinidad probably rates higher, , but for me, personnaly speaking, I rate Hopkins-Johnson (at middleweight) higher than I rate Hopkins-Trinidad (at middleweight), as far as Hopkins' performance goes.
