    As the title suggests.

As a 21 year old, I never had the privilege to watch the great rivalry between the so called four kings Duran, haglar, hearns and Leonard. But I recently bought George Kimball's Four Kings and have become absolutely hooked on the legend that is Duran. Of course I have heard of him previously and have watched all his big fights before, but I never realised how much of an animal the guy actually was! It also surprised me to learn he was actually pretty good defensively when he wanted to be even tho his best attributes was undoubtably his power and aggression.

Now we all no that Manny loves a tear up, and he has looked most impressive against guys who come forward. He has emence speed and power in both hands and can bust up pretty much anyone between lightweight and LMW today.

So how long would this have lasted? My guest is no longer than 3 rounds. Both would meet head on on the ring and go to war for 9 minutes before the hands of stone take over and knock manny out. Roberto may even had to get off the deck to win.

Would have loved to have seen it!

The Duran that beat Palomino and SRL puts a vicious beatdown on Pac, who can't fight inside and is very hittable.

The problem is here on esb duran at 147 equals montreal Duran and that is his best performance and therefore is seen as unbeatable at 147 with a guy like pacquiao

As opposed to Pacquiao's best win against Cotto, the SRL win looks incredible.

I no your not. And to an extent I agree with u. Duran was FAR from unbeatable at WW, as No Mas showed.

But I think pac is perfect for Roberto who didnt like counterpunchers.

Would have been brilliant while it lasted. I picture it along the same lines as Hearns hagler

Pacquiao is actually a throwback, he is almost todays Duran, except todays SRL is scared to fight him.

I hate comparing different era's, I prefer just to enjoy the fighters for what they are and try and be positive about each of their achievements in the sport.

This fantasy match-up is however one I can almost visualise, it would be awesome.

I see today's Pacquiao standing in the ring waiting as Roberto Duran makes his entrance into the Arena like an animal unleashed, confident, ready and even striking fear into the most loyal of Pacfans with the air of menace surrounding his walk to the squared circle.
It would be a fight of the ages, the atmosphere electric, it would be a war, a war in which the Hands Of Stone would win by TKO in the mid-to-late rounds.
