Jordan was the best ever, the #1 , JCC is an ATG maybe top 30 to 20, there is a diference.

And you say that Kostya is very good but Tayor is great? come on Freddy, you are not being fair.

What if JCC was to be inducted into the HOF along side Duran (the king of kings) and I made a thread saying, HOW THE **** CAN THAT MEXI" CABBIE FIGHTING PUNK BE INDUCTED ALONG SIDE DURAN????????? WTF?????????? , would you come to the aid of JCC?

if you made valid points as to why chavez should not be there, then what can i do ???

i'll give duran the one up on chavez, but both are great.....chavez and kostya are two totally different things though....bigtime !!

Um, Freddy...you do realize Tszyu was still on his fight when Phillips stopped him, right? He wasn't really what you would call "KTFO cold". I also don't know if many people know what was going on outside the ring in Tszyu's life at the time that distracted him from training for the fight, but he obviously learned from it and went on to recover and become a better fighter than before; which is why I wouldn't really call the Phillips fight his "prime".

JCC is a lot higher up the ladder than Kostya, but that dos't mean that Kostya is not deserving of a spot in the HOF, a guy that cleaned out his division, a division that the experts were expecting big things from , they did not live up to their hype , but that is not up to Kostya.

IF Kostya had gotton a big scalp, just say a Floyd etc.... then he would looked apon diferent, but a group of great boxers moved through Kostya JWW division without facing the king there, that is not up to him, he would have fought who ever.

Kostya is the type of boxer that all fans should love, stays in one division to unify, does not drain heavaly to fight smaller guys, fights mostly in other countrys, will fight any one , what is not to love?

I still sometimes wish he would fight one last time; and he said he would be willing to fight one more time if it was someone like Mayweather, Pacquiao, or Mosley. Would just like to see him fight one last time.

there needs to be a line that gets drawn...sure many loved him, but that dont mean much once you have to stack his accomplishments next to other greats.....he could've very well tried to go after the fights too, i mean who did he think he was at the time, god ??? no one was gonna call him out cause besides judah, he didnt accomplish much that would want other greats to go after him...doesn't work like that, bro......you can't be a quiet guy in one division, cleaning out all the c level fighters there and expect the bigger names to want you.....when castillo mentioned that he wanted him, how come he didnt accept...not saying he was scared, but he did waste a lot of his prime doing nothing but taking breaks......his long streak as a champ is due to him not really fighting, it aint like he was cleaning out great fighters.....

wasn't he like 27/28....most would consider that you're prime....and he never tried to avenge that loss....

Jesus Christ. You do realize he went after fights with other top fighters and they didn't want to fight him because he was an Australian based fighter who wasn't well known in the US and so brought very little reward for fairly high risk, don't you? No, you don't. You're just going to carry on acting like you can read Tszyu's thoughts because his idea of boxing and how it should be done is alien to you.

It would be kinda like Wlad trying to fight Corrie Sanders now...pointless. If I recall by the time Tszyu had rebuilt himself into contention Phillips had gone downhill pretty badly.

it aint like phillips blasted right thru him..there could've been a rematch right away.....mostly every fighter that goes thru that has a rematch right away.....

"Quiet and humble" doesn't mean he wasn't looking for a fight with Shane Mosley or Oscar De La Hoya. It just means he wasn't being an ******* about the way he approached it. And if I remember, after the Phillips fight Tszyu had some lingering legal issues with his promoter at the time to resolve, and by the time he won the WBC title (even the interim one) Phillips was stopped by Terron Millet.

cool vince went on a two year streak in which kostya fought about 5 times....please bro, it could've been done and was a fight that people wanted to see.....that's pretty impressive to fight 5 times "during" legal issues...
