You were suggesting the WBC light middleweight title is something nobody gives a **** about, but obviously Pacquiao does. And defending it at 148 is farcical.

It is the fact its for a belt that makes people mad, not the catchweight itself. As farcical as LEanord challenging for the Light heavyweight title at 168.

you guys are crazy... youre okay with 147 but not with anything above 147 if its a catchweight. some of you are the same people who complains that pac drains his opponent, but wouldnt fighting at 147 be more draining than fighting at a catchweight of 148-150?? your guys' logic is ridiculous. Just like when he fought marg, i saw people complaining taht its better to fight him at 147 than 150 then complains that pac set the catchweight to drain margarito... wtf?!!? seems like for some of you catchweight = draining, while fighting at a LOWER weight as long as its the limit is not...

Another catchweight title bout, another list of excuses from his fans. But when he gets praised for so many titles in so many weight classes they have no complaints and dont try to correct anyone. Figures. But again us fans are wrong for wanting title fights in the correct weight class. Go figure.

It's not because it's the proper weight class for the fighters. They are both 147 fighters, so if they fought at 147 it would be no problem. But don't have a higher weight class fight for a title, then make them come in at a weight lower than the weight limit.

No one gives a **** about what you think, the general public the one that feeds Boxing its $$$ thinks that Pacquiao is this ultra bruce lee that beat up the best champion at 154 and won an unbelievable 8th title and is the real champion at that weight... No one knows about what BS happened to earn him that 8th world title and supposed history making title... Laughable.. disgrace to boxing.

I am talking about the fans. His belt was called a joke...now it's legit and MUST be defended properly?

Again, get over the whole "belts = Champ" BS. This is a fight between two guys about the same size. No one is being drained, no one weakened (which was often a big criticism of PAc's catchweight fights).

The funny thing about you mentioning SRL'a LtHW belt is....no one gave a **** about it and it's NOT a factor in SRL's legacy. It's work before, which is what will most likley be the case w/ Pac.

Obviously you give a **** what I think, othwewise you wouldn't have responded now.

Big deal...he's FOOLING the general public. OMG...the GENERAL PUBLIC thinks he can beat up Brusce Lee.

Maybe you didn't know this, but the general public as a whole are NOT die hard boxing fans nor do they write the history books. That's done by educated historians, trainers, scribes...ALL of whom are aware of Pac's legacy and record.

Unless they are conceding to a request from Mosely, due to an inability to make weight, fight at the g'damn weight limit!

I get what you're saying, but for someone like me, catchweights have taken away the significance of beating some of his opponents over the last few years.

    Henry Armstrong never did this.

The title in this fight means nothing remember. It was a bogus title fight that he won over 'undeserving' Margarito... so now you think the title is important? :huh

So do you think the history books will say Pac is this great champion with all these titles in different weights, or will it clearly say these titles are a joke, as you put it?
