i think its almost the same situation, the great p4p champion vs the green unproven but talented champion

i think that just like vargas, Berto will get beat BUT i don't see him being a push over. Vargas gave tito a tough fight and i think that Berto will make a good account for himself and get beat in the process

it will be way more compelling that mosley

Vargas did have a better resume at that point.

I don't see this fight being as competitive nor as exciting as Trinidad-Vargas.

Lol, Berto gets sparked and the rationale watch "Collazo"...has Pac not been KO'd twice? In his prime did he not lose to Morales? I mean, so because Berto had a close fight with Collazo, he automatically loses to a guy who was KO'd by worse guys than Collazo? The enitre argument is weak, I understand as a Pac fan not wanting him to fight Berto, but there are other ways to go about it besides discrediting Berto. Berto is an undefeated and highly regarded champion in Pac's division, Pac claims to fight the "best", like it or not he's the best opponent available.

Not as badly as Pacquiao would destroy Berto.

I would LOVE to see this fight. First off it would be bad ass, second off we could finally see what the young stud has against a real opponent. One thing though, it would need a good ref to keep all the excessive ****ing holding down. Other then that I got pac by KO, berto gets hit way to often but I think he would give pac a good go.

That said I don't know what would be better, the actual fight? Or all the ******s regurgitating their words and back tracking off everything they've said after pac tax's that ass. I can just hear it now, "well berto wasn't THAT good", "oh berto was really all hype", "well ask your self this, how easy would floyd have beaten berto?" Same old song and dance, just a slightly different tune.

:good...althought I don't think Berto is on level with Vargas at the same stage of both mens careers.

Well....Vargas made a great account of himself.. he made it a pretty close fight although he took a lot of punishment in losing. He was in the fight for a good portion of the fight. Which Berto wouldn't be in my opinion if he were to face PAC.
