Shane 'Shot' Mosley to recieve $5,000,000 for Pacquiao Fight

People are acting like it's the end of the world, JMM and Berto will still be there late next year. Pac ain't going away.

In all honesty JMM and Shane don't have a lot of justification for this fight at this stage. JMM only has history and shane only has the fact he's black and american which is what Floyd fanatics claim PAC avoids. Neither guy has much of a shot. JMM getting paid a retirmetn check and Shane getting a career high Payday is well deserved but not in the sense that they've done anything to warrent a fight with manny.

Mosley/Pac would generate more PPV buys than Marquez.

Mosley's cut is going to be something like 15/85 for Pac, whereas if Marquez got the 5 mill hes asking for the cut would be 30/70 Pac.

 

Shane doesn't really deserve the fight other than the fact the man is a living legend. Holy didn't deserve a fight with Valuve...he got it on the strenght of his name and history...the same elements that put Shane and JMM in the PAC runnings.

 

I agree with that....but b/c this fight is gonna be on cinco de mayo weekend I actually think form a financial standpoint JMM would be a better option.

Its complete **** that Roach is going through with the fight. But more power to mosley, I hate that he is going to get mauled but I dont feel that bad for him if he is getting 5 million for it especially when he was supposedly taken to the cleaners in his divorce.

 

this fight is no more of a waste of time then the margo fight.face it folks, manny needs a dance partner and the main man is in jail (mayweather).jmm wants it at 140 or even 135 so thats a no can do.berto is a high risk low reward, mosley is the best man he can fight now on PAPER anyways.
