Good for Shane, glad he's making some money, but bad for us. That payday should be going to JMM, and it would have been a much better fight. I'm very surprised that this fight got made instead of the Marquez fight.

Bottom line he should have fought Martinez at 154 (a championship that he claims to hold) or Berto the undefeated champion of the weight class he's in. I ****ing love JMM but he's not beating this version of Pac, period point blank. I have nothing but respect for SSM he WAS truely an ATG, but he's 0-1-1 in his last two fights. I mean he's coming off a draw with Sergio "the latin shitbox" Mora, seriously. Martinez and/or Berto were the best options, and there's no other way to say it. This is a **** fight, I hope SSM doesn't get hurt, so that he can retire with his money and enjoy the rest of his life.

Yeah basically. Here's what Richard Schaefer had to say about about Shane getting the fight. "Good luck. He’s obviously no longer part of Golden Boy. That’s all I’m going to say. I wish him luck."

"He's obviously no longer part of Golden Boy" seems like a diss to Arum who will only have in-house fights. Sucks for everyone but Arum.

That's how they roll. They came up with all kinds of excuses way Marquez didn't deserve the fight.

Hence the reason he was turned down. You gotta look like **** in your last two fight to get a fight with Pac. In Roach's own words.

Same ones that said Mosley was done after the Mayweather fight, and then clowned him some more after the Mora fight. People were saying he should retire, but now he's magically rejuvinated by another big payday, and no random drug test requirements.

I don't think it matters who Paq. fights, people are going to find fault. I would rather see Berto in there, but people will say " he wasn't ready , or who has he beat" The people who hate Paq. ,just like the people who hate Mayweather will complain whoever they fight. Shane was just the linear 147 pound champ when he fought Mayweather, and the Floyd fans let everyone know that. Floyd completely outclassed Shane in his fight. Was this because Floyd is just that good , or was Mosley shot? And no Floyd didn't make Shane "shot" during the fight. Shane is still one of the biggest money fights for Paq. at 147 pounds. Lets get this fight over with and see whos next. There is a very short list left for Paq. to fight. Like him or hate him he is cleaning out the division (147). If he fights Berto next after Shane who else is left? The only good fights that come to mind are the 140 pound guys moving up.

JMM pac 3 All Hope is lost, We have to wait for JMM to lose until that happens, maybe next cinco de mayo.

    :-(
    Fight night weight.
    JMM-pac 2 140 vs 144

    JMM-pac 3 144-148

That's all that matters on fight night, to bad we won't be able to see it, JMM can't keep this up for long beating up the young Lions, sooner or later he is gonna decline passed it... Oh well... JMM should just face the young lions at 140 and call it a career...

****ing Arum. He needs to realize that if you put anything green, white, red, and an eagle in the middle in the same ring as Pacquiao, people will watch. Why do you think Univision hypes up English Premire League matches that involve last place West Ham ****ing United? That's right, they have a Mexican player in Pablo Barrera.

JMM asked for the same money and Arum rejected him? **** Top Rank.

For the recored SSM is not a great draw, the numbers support that and it has been cited numerous times over the years. No way the fight draws more than JMM, I don't push for the JMM fight per se', but I think if it were a money decision JMM in terms of PPV's and Gate (especially if in Texas), would beat the **** out of this fight in terms of money generated.
