The jab will hurt Haye bad, trust. I have very little faith in his punch resistance.

I'd be highly surprised if Wlad finishes it early.

 Dropped Chagaev in the 2nd with the right, sparked Ray Austin, hurt Chambers bad in the 2nd......there is some evidence to support my claim, and I'm not certain Haye is any better than any of those three (maybe Austin)

But you are assuming he hasn't when we don't really know.

I think they both want the fight now and it is just a matter of time!!!

Ya but then he toyed with Chambers for another 10 rounds before getting the KO. He just doesn't have that "go for the kill" mentality that other fighters have. If Haye gets hurt but not KO'd he can just back off and recover.

I see what you're saying Ed, my point is I don't see Haye lasting a bad patch like that. One shot and it's over IMO.

    For once Rob I agree.

I think Haye's athleticism will be too much for Wlad. I think he will be able to land those big overhand rights that Wlad has had so much trouble with in the past. I think Haye's hands and feet will be too quick for Wlad.

I see Wlad getting hurt early in this one and Haye is a good finisher. I think my bet will be on Haye TKO5.

Haye is quite wiley when hurt though. He's smart enough to take a knee and allow himself to recover. He doesn't rely on instinct like other fighters, he keeps composed and uses his brain.

For me the key in this fight is the jab, If Wlad can land it the way he does on other fighters then its goodnight Haye.

But if haye can get past the jab then he will smash wlad to bits. Haye has too much speed and variaity, especially cause wlad cant fight at all inside. The ref will play a important factor in this one. Another note haye needs to get it done in under 7 or his parachute wont open.

All this talk about haye ducking is bull****. Haye hasnt fought anyone remotely like wlad. And wlad hasn't anyone with the skills of a david haye and thats the bottom line.

    peace!

    No it isn't.

He's a nice guy, but various posters (including myself) have called his bluff in the past and he has admitted he knows next to jack **** about the negotiations.

And why would he? This is a guy who is only with Wlad in camp.

Do you think that the negotiating table has seats for Schaefer, Booth, Boente, Finkel, De la Hoya, and then 'Wlads cook'?
