Bob Arum: "Marquez' demands ($5M) offended Pac, killed fight" - yet pays Mosley $7M+

Like anyone believes anything bob arum says. The guy is as close to a snake of a human being that you will probably witness in your lifetime.

 

Marquez's 5M was a garantee'd purse right? + the PPV after that. Is Mosley's 7M a garantee? or in that including the PPV? Because if it's including the PPV, it's not that bad imo..

yeah the thread title is misleading. what is mosley's guranteed purse coz from what i remembered, margarito has only $3M guaranteed purse.

They wanted to see what Berto and JMM looked like. When they both showed up looking great they went with Mosley. Why do you think they were mentioning all 3 names before the fight and right after the fight they were saying no way.

I wasn't sure if Pacquiao would fight Mosley after Mayweather dominated him. But when Mosley signed with Top Rank Inc....THE WRTITING WAS ON THE WALL and Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles saw what was going to happen. What I am pissed off about is that on ESPN this Morning (Last Night Actually) mentioned the fight, but read a quote from Pacquiao saying "HE WANTED TO FIGHT MOSLEY BECAUSE HE WAS THE BIGGEST NAME AVAILABLE"...STRAIGHT BULL**** AND SPIN FROM ARUM AND ROACH!!!! Look I get it...that Team Pacquiao and Team Mayweather won't happen til Arum fattens his pockets with other opponents for Pacquiao...I GET THAT!!!

But for Arum and Roach to act as if this was Pacquiao's decision and toss some BS quote out to the Media...STRAIGHT BULL****!!! Arum agreed to pay Mosley X-Millions because he knows that a large percentage of that payday...is going right back into Arum's pocket!!!!

 

or arum offering the same $5M to mosley will have him more in return since mosley will be signing for TR. if JMM was the one inside TR and not mosley, arum would be drumming the JMM fight.

 

Marquez is Mexican, Latinos buy PPVs.
Nobody buys PPVs because of Mosley.
