What about three awful choices of opponent back to back? Pac vs Clottey was far from a tremendous fight, in fact the only competitive fight he has been in since he started cherry picking was vs Cotto who started well before reverting to the kind of form he had displayed post Margo.

It's the Emperor's new clothing from the three kings of bull****. Pumped up Pac brings the Frankenstein, Arum the gold and Roach the 'meh'!

well, i do agree pac-clottey was stupid (but i would still say its just becoz pac is new to the weight and wants to test the waters.. we shouldnt expect pac that much coz hes also a fighter and not a superhuman one) .. but PacMarg wasnt that stupid... people might say it was a total mismatch but its just becoz of the pacquiao hype..

well, on pac mosley, as i said, it was not the best choice, but we cant blame and lose respect to the guy with just that easily. and trust me, if pac chose marquez, they would still hate pac for ducking mosley... and if he chose berto, they would still say hes too green... we cant please anybody... with this pac-mosley, this must be the poorest choice...

and if ONLY if martinez is a natural 154lber i would have dissed pac for not taking on martinez...

theres not much of a choice actually

Apparently JMM isn't quite shot enough for them to attempt to finally get a win over him. Roach will wait till JMM is about 40 I think.

Well he cherrypicked pacquiao, that backfired and took a dive vs b-hop.
Im not disagreeing though I would rather have him face martinez at 160 and lose a decision then beat mosley to a pulp.

    Really now?

Please name some "credible" opponents that are "ok" with you then.

He fought Clottey because the Mayweather fight fell through, and the next 2 best Welterweights were tied up as they were supposed to be fighting each other in Mosley and Berto.

He then fought Margarito after Mayweather decided to take a convenient "i'm on vacation" excuse.

Now it's Mosley. Read my post above about relevance of credibility here.

Seriously all you ****ing ******s that just post his fights are a joke, why don't you geniuses tell us who he SHOULD be fighting instead?? Instead of just making ******ed comments like above.

cotto was a good win, we all thought de la hoya was going to ko him, hatton only lost at 147 and had a good chance at 140. clottey just had a tough fight with cotto. I only think the margarito fight was stupid a bit, I accept it because he was so much bigger that it looked like he could do damage.
But he didnt deserve it. just like mosley doesnt right now.

    :rofl:rofl

Team Pac have picked very carefully as of recent I'd even suggest cherry picking. But you can't deny Pac has beaten who has been infront of him quite impressively.

This Mosley fight will lose him a lot of support when there was Berto/Marquez out there. I actually can't believe the same people who played down Floyds victory over Mosley are trying to defend this fight.

and oscar was given **** when he chose a lightweight pacquiao instead of margarito then. some boxing fans only chose what they want to bash.

No. Responses like this only show you are a puppet.

Most people see Berto or Marquez as a better fight, there is also Martinez at 154 where Pac is a belt holder and the winner of Bradley-Alexander if they wait it out another month. All are much more relevant fights.

Mosley is 3rd cherrypicked opponent in a row. There is no denying this.

Mosley is bigger, stronger and Pac`s style is perfect for mosley to win.
Mosley might look like when he fought Margo since there will be no random blood testing in this fight. I am not sure that will Pac be able to handle a Mosley`s combination such as the one that almost ko Floyd. Pac has chosen to fight the best.

i agree. i did call this a few months ago. we all love boxers when they are on the up, taking on the best.

the problem is, pacman has now become the best himself. there are very few fighters he can take on and maintain credibiltiy.

the list IMO is floyd, martinez, cotto(154), dzindzuruk(154)

the guy is a lmw champ now, he should have no issues with taking on a fellow beltholder.

i honestly didn't have problem with the clottey fight, he genuinely was the best available opponent.

i did have a problem with the margo fight for obvious reasons, likewise now. that is two fights in a row he is fighting people who have achieved fuk all in 2 years. and it is a very long time since he fought a p4p worthy opponent.

Don't watch him. Don't buy his PPVs. It's as simple as that.
