Floyd's not going to stop this fight. No way. He's gonna sit there, hope Mosley beats Pac...which contrary to what 90% of the people are saying is possible, and then all his problems will be solved.
IF Mosley beats Manny.....Floyd will be unquestioned as the best. That is all he really wants. He will NEVER have to fight Manny at all.
I think stylistically this fight favors Mosley. I think Manny should be favored of course, but the style matchup favors mosley, all he has to do is fight a good fight and not gas out and he will have a chance.
I actually agree with this. Remeber this is at 147. If Mosley connects, Im curious what happens because he hits harder than anyone Manny has faced but on the same toke, this fight goes past 4, I can see Shane getting stopped early (6th or 7th)
Well that is the problem. If Shane didn't gas out against Floyd who knows how that fight could have ended. And if he will not gas out against Pac I think he has a big chance of a KO.
So one year later, he gonna be in better shape than he was against floyd. Glad I understand that part.
People pay too much attention to Pacquiao/Mayweather, a fight that may never happen. We have Bradley/Alexander, Montiel/Donaire, Abner Mares/Agbeko, **** a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight unless it gets signed. In the meantime I'll be enjoying the fights that actually will happen that I mentioned.
I know what you're saying but I'm not discounting the small possibility that if there will no random test this time Shane can "focus" better.
This is the effect floyd has on people, his haters are calling for him to rescue the day. Talk about an after effect
How is Floyd responsible for this? Is Floyd holding Arum and Manny at gun point telling them "I'll shoot if you don't fight Shane"? Top Rank had the opportunity to set up fights with Martinez, Williams, Berto, Marquez, and Bradley. Instead what we got was him fighting another past it fighter.
