Good that you would do that if you were emmanuel. emmanuel has a different idea. WHen he was considering Mosley or Marquez, he clearly said he's worried that Marquez can't sell well.

Wake up people, the quicker you do, the less disappointed you'll be.

You know what, you might not be far off in that assessment. Pacman's entourage if massive, & he gives away lots of doe in his homeland as Poverty is on a wide scale there.

I heard Bob Arum gets something like 25% of what Pac's purses for fights! If that is accurate, then its clear Manny is just a Pimp in all of this!

Im not justifying it, Pac apparently thinks marquez makes it close at any weight thats why he rather fights mosley.

I wonder if he still clinging onto the hope of fighting Floyd. Marquez would have his moments here and there, "exposing" emmanuel. You wouldn't want to give your biggest rival something to work with right before you're about to fight him.

Marquez would definitely make a tougher fight. Skill for skill, he's miles ahead of Mosley and always has been. But the size difference is now too much to make this a compelling matchup. That's why it should've been Berto.

I can bet that Pac wanted to fight Marquez since he was familiar with him, had a couple wars and Marquez is talking a ton a trash. I don't believe that Pac has really followed Berto's career enough to be familiar with him to demand a fight with him. And im sure Arum and Roach probably told Pac a bunch of BS to make Pac believe that Mosley was the best fighter for his career.

There formula is simple. Roach dissects the easiest matchup while Arum dissects the most money/legacy. The guy with the best combination of both is who they will choose for Pac.

Mosley - limited head and foot movement, come forward fighter, will lose out to Pac's hand speed in trades, stamina is a concern. Has not performed well in his last 2 fights, 40yrs old. Has the biggest name though.

Because Uncle Bob is the boss here and anything about honor, doing this for more than the money, etc. is a load of crap. He is in the sport for the same reason Mayweather, Jones, De La Hoya, etc. are/were in the sport for and that is to make as much money as possible.

As much as I dislike this matchup, people need to calm the hell down. Pac has 3 years left to fight, don't you people think that the Berto's and these other so called "desirable" matchups will eventually get made? Just because it's not in the order to everyones liking doesn't mean it wont get made.

This fight gives the haters some legitimate gripes for once...this is a horrible choice of opponent. A old ass, worn out guy who FMJ already schooled...this is the epitome of a lose-lose situation for Pac. Unless he KOs Shane in less than 3 rounds, he gets NO props for a win, and if he loses...tsk, tsk...tarnished legacy...just like RJJ.
