Surely the fight would have to be signed before they could ask ARD how much they would pay? There's a lot of variables which alter the price they would pay, I'd have thought.

Boothe doesn't deal with ARD... Sauerland do. It could just be a case of Sauerland have said 'we can get more from our tv network than what RTL pay Wlad' none of us know.... everyone is trying to throw mud at people when none of us know the truth as to what is really going on but we have people looking to discredit both sides at every oportunity and start making theories up to suit their agenda... can't we just be happy as fight fans that the fight appears to be getting closer to being signed?

Nope he always seems so negative about it, even on the ringside show he said to Booth to have another fight.

Plus he always seems to contradict what Wlad says and even Chef says that sone times.

Dont trust the **** 1 bit.

Yeah, Wlad said he'll fight "anywhere" which obviously includes America and then he goes against that. At first he said "not Vegas" and then "not America". I'm sure Wlad would fight there though.

    He seems useless.

So the government run ARD will shell out 1 million more than RTL -- the most successful commercial TV station in continental Europe?

Explain how you think ARD will make their money back? ARD is a government run station that is *PROHIBITED* from showing any commercials after 8pm!

Bönte says Booth was unable to produce a written, signed offer by ARD. Why is that?

Well if it is government run they will have plenty of financial backing. In order for these government run TV stations to run they it requires the whole nation to own a tv license which pays for the tv station. They also do have commercials so will have advertising fees... BBC is a government run tv station in the UK but they paid Audley Harrison a fortune!
Boente said on ringside it is possible ARD could offer more than what RTL are paying which is why he said he would cover the difference. Do you know more about German tv than Boente now?

Again this is all YOUR opinion... there is no fact in any of your speculation just as usual YOU trying to discredit Haye and Booth at the first opportunity.

All these people jumping to conclusions to slag Haye off, should realise that the Haye camp wanted open, public negotiations. The Klitschko camp didn't, which makes it clear that one side has something to hide and one doesn't.

once haye is free of saureland the fight WILL happen.

once both kltischkos fight 1 more fight, they can go elsewhere if they offer more, but probably it wont be much more offered and they will stick to the same network still.

if the difference isnt much and klits dont get to highest bidder, than its only small amount to pay to haye for not going to highest bigger,so no probs there.

but boente needs to go back on his word and go to the highest bidder, even if it is HBO.

i think 60/40 to winner works better than 50/50.

but i dont trust klitschkos managment as they didnt even answer the question of it they would do open negotiations.

you dont get it...... Yes Boente said he would pay... thats not the issue... the issue is where is the proof of the offer from another station (ARD)... Boente said on TV..."show me the offer when you get it... Booth hasnt. Booth could just make up an offer and you expect K2 to just pay the difference?

If the offer is legit, there is the higher TV deal in writing?

CHEF, you need to do an 'Alex Ariza on Michael Koncz' and knock Boente out...

    ;)

Seriously though, why aren't the negotiations public? I'm interested in that.
