His KO percentage was high as a HW champion butnot as high as David Haye now , Haye has a better percentage you wont hear team klit talk about this stat for a while

I hear what you are saying, but I don't believe fights at Cruiser should be included when we are talking about the HEAVYWEIGHT KO percentage.

If you look at Haye's Heavyweight record only, his KO percentage is 80%.

Lol @ all these so called boxing 'experts' on ESB saying Vitali has no power. These are the people who haven't seen him fight because back in the day when he was a young bull Big V was single shotting these chumps left right and centre.

Age ****s up your power everyone knows that. Big V now relies on accumulative punches big deal. He's a better boxer now than he was when he was younger.

A good boxer does well for a time. A great boxer adapts and makes the most of his toolsets at all times which is what Big V is.

Haters gonna be hatin but this thread sure does prove half of peeps don't even bother watching the guy they hate on - what a farce.

to suggest that, not thinking vitali klitschko is a knockout puncher is hating, is absolutely ludicrous.

give vitali his dues. he isn't a knockout puncher, yet he still dominates and wears down his opponents. there are very few fighters today that would beat him, all this inspite of his decreased power.

we don't have to fabricate a skillset for vitali, he displays it himself.

his legacy will always be damaged by the loss to byrd and his 4 years out, but he is doing the best he can with what he's got.

there is a difference between hating and observing.

You just hate Vitali so much, admit it...
That's why you have to that picture on your avatar, and you're trying to convince us that you're not hating??? You're absurd!

Sadly for you it doesn’t go like that, but luckily you can invent new record category to your hero.

However the record of "Best KO% of any heavyweight champion in history" belongs to Haye now.

Actually power is the last thing to go. I think his power was always pretty average from a clean knockout point of view, he is heavy handed and has weight, but it is cumulative. He has landed flush shots on guys not known for their durability to not much effect.

I didn't ever rate him as powerful, he's a big guy most big guys have heavy hands he can do what he does better than most and he mahusive what else would you expect other than a high ko%
