Disappointed with Pac-Mosley. The only thing that will redeem it a bit is...

...if Pac becomes the first man to KO or TKO a granite-chinned much bigger man like Shane.

Don't get me wrong, I do not like this fight and I am not happy about it at all, but as it's happening now there's nothing else to do but make the best of it, being a staunch Pacquiao fan.

Even with cowardly Floyd being on vacation looking for his urge, I'd still much rather have seen Pac vs Marquez III or Pac vs Berto, but at least we know that Pacquiao vs Mosley will produce real fireworks while it lasts...

...and fireworks are always a good thing in boxing. :bbb

I'm not thrilled either. Of course, the fight w al want is not happening because one party just doesn't want to fight Pac. And the dude has to fight, so it is what it is. Funny thing is, 2 other fights in the running, Berto and JMM, that people are going to ***** about for Pac not fighting, would Lose (JMM) or be 50-50 with Shane (Berto).

I don't like Shane getting the "zab Judah' title shot treatment. It should be Shane vs. Berto first. But of course, Pac needs to fight too.

I'm glad Pac isn't fighting someone bigger (than his most recent fights), so in that sense it is a relief

If he actually KO's Mosley I'll be slightly impressed, but I expect Pac to get the TKO via accumulation.

JMM at 140 or even the 144 catchweight limit he fought Floyd at was my preferred option. Even though Shane crushes JMM in a welterweight fight, I still think Pac and JMM would've produced a compelling contest before Pac's power won out. Their history makes it a much more interesting fight to me.

Pac vs Mosley is going to be target practice.

I would also be impressed by a straight KO, as Shane's chin has held up in dire circumstances before. Obviously everything Manny and Floyd do is measured against each other, and Floyd couldn't even drop the same Shane.

This is a nothing fight, the method of victory means nothing in terms of enhancing the how meaningful the win is. Mosley is in terrible form. I don't care about Pac or Floyd anymore, this circus has went on too long for me. The method of victory is only potentially enhancing in regards to performance, not how meaningful the win is. To argue this is absolutely embarrassing to me so i will not reply, just know that i'm embarrassed for you.

Other fighters are giving us what we want, so i'm focusing on them.

As usual, a complete drama queen. :-( You seem to spend every day on here crippled by embarrassment over things that no-one else cares about.

As a fan of a certain fighter, I am happy to watch them whenever they fight, and if they win while doing something which no-one else has ever managed, I'll be as pleased as I can be with a fight I don't like and didn't want.

Yeah this. It's basically a time waster. A nothing fight.

Not at all, for one they both have completely different styles so I don't see how if Pac stops him it's any better than Floyd totally dominating him. Also, Mosley will be a year older once the Pac fight comes around, and a year can make a big difference to a fighter in their late 30's and Shane was already well past it when he fought Mayweather.

Well, I hope Pac doesn't ease up on Shane and Nazim doesn't get too overprotective......but then, if Pac beats Shane up, real bad, we will definitely kiss the Pac-Floyd goodbye.

I do predict that Pac will let Shane have his moment, (just like Cotto, Clottey and Margo)complete domination like what he did with DLH doesn't get you credit.

I don't think we'll ever see Pac at 140. If they fought at 144, I still think Pac beats him pretty clearly this time. But anything can happen.

Target practice yes, but I'm hoping Shane remembers to throw some bombs of his own. Although I'm not sure. Shane's confidence seems to be disrupted easily.

Honestly, I am just glad Berto didn't get the fight. He needs to do some **** of his own instead of getting hand fed chumps while waiting for the Pac sweepstakes.

Right, cherrypicker somehow managing to avoid the label for many years of cherrypicking. It's truly amazing :-(

Fight the best fighters in any division is all we ask of the supposed top fighter in the world. 140, 147, 154, take your pick. Clottey, Margo and Mosley don't cut it.

That's true I suppose, Shane does look like his physical state is in terminal decline now. He's almost unrecognizable from the beast that fought Oscar in '00.
